Windowed Mode in HD

I have been playing Heroes 3 Era II in HD mode and I put it on 32-Bit True and 1024x768 most of the time, which opens the game in windowed mode (usually).
But since yesterday, everytime I choose the same configuration, or any other, the game only runs in fullscreen mode.
I really need my windowed mode back! Any ideas?

Try pressing F4 in-game
you may need to change desktop color depth to 32 bit or 16 bit depending on HD settings.
