It is, the problem is you just play even maps. If enemy is much stronger then you and you can't do enough damage to kill then in a few rounds, having the time to Blind every one and start warring then down one by one you surely want your first Bind and Slow to last forever, if your 20 of Power got reduced to 8 you will have a problem dealing with this.

Its only good if you have the arifacts+resistance.
For 10 SP it lasts 7 rounds with skill, 5 with artis, and 2 with both.
Anyway, what diesnt make sense is that resistance will reduce bless duration, lol.

all spells duration is based on spell power. you can also equip ring of magi to conterpower resistance reduction.

No, few spells have hardcoded duration for example - Force Field. It lasts 3 turn and can't be altered.

I think it lasts 2 turns, though, but I can't vouch for it. It's a minor detail, so no biggie

It lasts two turns and yes, that would be a biggie. I guess you never played one of those maps where you use it to protect your shooters for dozens of rounds, being able to cast two spells between one Force Field and another would be a major advantage in those cases.
As a matter of fact, that could be a nice specialty: hero can cast Force Field with increased duration.

Not a fan of maps which require you to go for a specific gimmick, to be honest.
So I can't say I'd like heroes specializing in gimmicks to make those maps even more gimmick focused.

In my maps, force field is either disabled or has a cost of 500 mana, that tells you how strong and unfair (for the opponent) I consider that spell.

There are maps made like a puzzle that REQUIRES that gimmick to work as intended to be completable.
Aznyways. At least HotA still keeps the ability to play SoD, right? Even if it doesn't allow plugins or is customizable like WoG
