Casual quick cup with friends, what settings?
Hi, this will be my first post here =)
I'm putting together a small tournament day for me and my nostalgic casual gaming friends and I'm not sure what settings we should play in order to make it in 10 hours.
We will be 8 ppl playing and I'm thinking 2 rounds, semifinals with 4 player in each, then a 4 player final.
I resently tried out HD mod and HOTA which seems to speed things up nicly with easy army transfers and simultanious turns etc. So I guess we will be playing hota.
So 2 rounds in 10 hours. I'm thinking medium random map without water nor underground?
What about tournament settings?
So many questions, what are the main things I need to think about in order to make this a good HOMM day?

Can anyone at least reccomend what game we should play. Regular HOMM 3 SOD, HD-MOD, or HD-MOD + HOTA?

Welcome to the forums, Deadly_Dave.
Well HD-MOD for sure. Hota on top of new content also made balance changes so I guess only you can find out what you prefer.
