Meanwhile around here: a new wave of restrictions coming up.
And here's the best chunk of it: schools, markets, fairs and so on are closed, public and private parties are forbidden, you can't travel at night, facemasks are mandatory in all public spaces, but the elections in December will still happen because, in case we forgot, we're a free, democratic state.

You should be happy about having elections, I would really love to vote right now, show those pesky USAians how you're supposed to have a free, fair and secure election.
Double ID to vote and police at polling stations, try breaking that to stuff ballots. Disregard the voter corruption tho. 
Btw, in the red zones, everything is closed, but you can take the subway to get an haircut.
Yeah, I don't get it.

Things here are like that since March, actually. Schools are still closed, fairs, shows, parties, face masks are mandatory the moment you get out of home. But we can travel at night, at least. hohohoho If any restriction is added back, we won't feel as much impact as when they were first enacted. Unless they prohibit people from leaving home altogether.
City elections will happen here on Sunday after the next, on November 15th. And second turn on 29th. We are to take our own pen to sign our names, masks, more time to vote.

NO INCREASE IN ICU OCCUPATION IN SICILY! YES!
Needed a place to gloat, lately news have been incredibly bleak, the little town my family owns their business is becoming a hotspot of covid infections, which keeps me incredibly worried about them, since it's spreading really fast there.
At least we're holding out good in regards of hospitals, almost an outlier in Italy, where the rest of the regions are starting to restrict common hospital procedures.
I hope we're stabilizing.

We are in a spike, especially here in my state. And odd thing. Probably a pseudo-second wave, considering the first one is still ongoing. And now that we had municipalty elections, there might have another spike in the next weeks.

My state went into it's most severe lockdown on Thursday and end on Midnight next Wednesday but some pizza guy lied about a bunch of snow and it's now easing on Sunday.
The covidiocy is real.
