But since I'm cruel, I'm gonna tell you I'm spending this time alone.
Things are going fine for the most part tho, despite it being an hard anxiety inducing time, I've been chilling out for the most part, and in an irresponsible vein, treating it as almost a vacation actually, playing the apocalypse survivor (didn't get groceries for two weeks), despite the catastrophic expectations, we didn't get hit as hard as others, and according to some studies, by the 15th virus will be contained in Sicily.
And even if that won't happen, we've got to the point that we've built up a pretty good prevention system, since mask use is now mandatory and widespread, thus in a way negating that effect of not being protective enough (since we all wear them, everyone avoids possibly spreading it to the air, thus the weakness to the entering virus is almost negated), after seeing everyone wear it, I had to change my mind about its effectiveness.
Also, nationwide, we've already contained the healthcare emergency, critical care spots are getting freed by the day, instead of being occupied by new bad cases, and we've already seen a decrease in the rate of deaths, consider that we count every death WITH coronavirus.
So, we're staying safe here, we've almost got used to it, if it can help you feel better about this situation. I think that if the other countries follow up with this, emergency will be over before we expected it to

Lol, in France they took some time to release an app for our attestations. They made it a point that they made sure to not collect personal data. To be able to use the app, you have to authorize it to take pictures and record videos

Are W.H.O. officials now suddenly coming into our homes and forcibly seizing our children? Take a wild guess. They are an organization that gives advice, and prepares countries globally for health emergencies. I wish at least this one thread on hc could be informative, and not a place for such propaganda.
Here is the transcript of when Dr. Micheal Ryan was asked about different approaches to quarantine in China and in European countries with group quarantine used to good effect in China. Do you think that home quarantine will be as effective anywhere for people who are positive, or would central quarantine be needed in order to have the same success that China had?
Hi. Yeah, just so we get our terms right and we can explain ourselves properly, we tend to use the word isolation for someone who is a case confirmed. We tend to use the word quarantine for someone who’s at risk of being a case, usually a contact. On that basis, we advise that all suspect cases are tested and all suspect cases are isolated in an appropriate medical facility. I think nobody disagrees with that where the capacity exists. When we come to contacts, it very much depends on the context and the intensity of the epidemic at any given moment. In low incidence areas where there are sporadic cases or clusters, we advise that all contacts should be quarantined.

Ideally, that quarantine should occur in a place other than the home. For this reason, one, because if that person gets sick, they may already have infected their family. But that’s not always possible, so at least quarantining contacts at home with good health advice that would not transmitting a disease if they’ve become sick and with regular monitoring of that individual is an option for countries. It is difficult to do that in the middle of intense transmission where you might have hundreds of thousands of contacts, because you’re having tokens of cases a day. It is difficult to deal with that, so home quarantine of contacts is acceptable with appropriate information …

I listened to the president of Singapore this morning and he had a conference call with the director general; and the clarity of that in Singapore, that ability not only to isolate cases but to rapidly detect illness in the contacts and remove those contacts should they become sick, was a central part of that. And as he said, they’re using apps now to do that. They’re testing apps, but that they didn’t do it with apps Singapore. They did that with community workers, with public health workers visiting the houses, checking on people, checking their health status every day and saying, “How are you? Have you got a fever? Have you got a cough?” And if a contact is developed a cough or a fever, they were taken immediately for testing.

So yes, we need the information technology tools. They help. They are not the solution. Right now, we don’t have an alternative to what we would’ve considered in the old days. boot-leather epidemiology. Public health practitioners, doctors, nurses, community workers, working with communities to detect cases at community level. And the most likely person to become a case is someone who’s been a significant contact of another case.

And at the moment, in most parts of the world, due to lockdown, most of the transmission that’s actually happening in many countries now is happening in the household at family level. In some senses, transmission has been taken off the streets and pushed back into family units. Now, we need to go and look in families to find those people who may be sick and remove them and isolate them in a safe and dignified manner.

Spring is such a beautiful season that I completely forgot about the deadly plague tormenting the world. I pranced off to my favourite park, only to find it cordoned off and myself chased away by the police. If it were only my life at stake, I'd gladly risk it for a stroll in the park, but, alas, I have to endure for the good of the elderly.

Well, it helps reading the next statements where he clearly says "no injection, no disinfectant this way" but then TDS wouldn't get its drugs, right?
The pathetic thing is that in France we have professor Raoult who was on the way of getting a treatment but due to financial conflicts everyone ignored and bashed him, and then probably it will be the USA who will find a cure because they work hard on, and we will have to pay the big price for.

I watched the White House press briefings for a few nights back when the outbreak was heating up because I really enjoyed listening to Dr Fauci, but Trump trolling the stage with his usual babbling and trumpeting how what an amazing job he was doing made it boring after a while.
