I enjoyed their subs, sad times. They said Corona killed them, I wonder if they meant it literally. Anyway, it sucks. It's been a terrible year for the industry and a terrible 2020 in general.

Danmachi s3 has started as well. First ep seems okay. I'd like to think that s2 never happened.

I will get back to you guys when I'll wrap my head around all the animes that are released friday-saturday cus it's a busy schedule.
I see HS still releases some stuff like Enen S2 (wonder how long they will go). Well it's not that they were some sort of uber sub group (I think they didn't even sub just ripped from Crunchyroll), but their site was very convinient as it kept track of all the realeses and those were almost always on time. So it was like a ritual for me to check their site daily.
And now I either need to browse through that sh*tty onslought of hiragana on nyaa or watch some stupid streaming services...
EDIT: As I suspected getting around the clusterf*ck that is nyaa is not handy at all but at least new stuff keeps coming:
- Fyre Forcu S2 - nice to see it wasn't cut in half, there's a new OP and arc
- Danmachi - after last season, this one actually seems to have potential. It appears this arc will be about humans understanding sentient monsters so this might turn out ok with buckets of the series signature drama 
- Haikyuu S5 - I don't even need to recommend this series. This is THE BEST sports series that I've ever seen. And becasue I've read the manga and know how satisfyingly it ends, there is so much joy to be had.
- Journey of Elaina - yep, gives a fuzzy feeling, technically it's pretty dope. Seemed wortwhile on PV's already, and I'm not disappoint.

Didn't watch it yet but Burn ze Witchii is out with three episodes, and you being the Titty "Bleach" Kubo fan, you might like it.

The whole "Burn the Witch" post was me reffering to your post a few months back when you were giving me an earful for not giving you a heads up about Tite Kubo's recent updates (Bleach continuation). So this time I decided to correct myself and wanted to let you know asap.
But I'm yet to watch it actually, too much other stuff on me...

Damn, didn't connect those dots at all. Thought it might be something else.
Well, I checked it out a bit, doesn't look like something I'd watch anytime soon, at least not with all this backlog hanging around. I have more than enough on my plate for now, so much that I took time off from work to focus on my hobbies again. Besides, I wasn't really a fan of Tite Kubo, I just enjoyed Bleach years ago, and still interested in anything related - especially the continuation!
Currently giving Uzaki-can a shot because of Kip. It's an alright lighthearted comedy with a tinge of romance. Kinda digging the college setting and the characters. Also the... certain accidental situations that keep happening...

speaking of being late...
before my hdd decided to go bonkers, I finished Girls und Panzer, the 12 episodes only, still got the film and the specials.
cute girls in tanks go brrrrrr.
and to boot there's model kits with them. sadly in 35th scale, and not available in my local hobby store

Yep, the movie premiered somewhere at the begining of 2020. Even when taking into account how long it takes for a blu-ray/subbed version to release, I'm probably a few weeks late.
But you know what? I win becasue I'm yet to watch it and that feeling is good, mwahaha.

I thought you'll like it. It might be me, but it actually feels like... Bleach per chance? Or some of the less known series like Tokyo Ravens or Tokyo Majin.
I mentioned this, but I have good vibes about Danmachi this season. "Race Wars", or taking sides are a good subject in anime, hopefully it won't be overdramatic and full of pathos.
BTW I finished watching first 14 episodes of Great Pretender. This series about cons is pretty unique so worth the watch, but I feel they weren't able to quite decide on the mood of it: if it is a drama or a comedy. Screenwriters try to weave in a specific characters backgrounds in each arc, but with varied outcomes (I just couldn't feel for the characters even if it's done right from a technical perspective). I also don't like the MC. Maybe this is the point of the story but the guy feels like such a tryhard and so out of place - yes, he does not want to bury himself into this line of work, but tries nevertheless, and ends up loosing his cool which is deadly yet somehow it doesn't affect the events that much (his partners either rick-roll him or clean up his mess). Even if goodhearted, he's still a clown and that makes things unrealistic... 7/10

That's EXACTLY what I thought as well! Reminded me of how Bleach started out. Just that instead of Rukia there's a dude.
