On the other hand, the "anti-wokers" are taking the other extreme where obsolete ideas become attractive again, not because they actually work, but because they are what-the-other-side-is-against-(amongst-other-things).  Imagine being unironically fascist in 21st century.  Imagine unironically supporting the institution of arranged marriage.  Imagine unironically denying certain people's rights.  Imagine unironically calling people degenerate based on the culture they belong to.  And then imagine unironically pounding yourself in the chest, acting like a beacon of morality.

No one in the group you're referring to here thinks, pushes, or agrees with any of this. This is all utter bs.

The only reason a female was ever Thor, in comics or anywhere else, is because of forced "progressivism"; which is what anyone with sense actually rails against. You're not going to make me think anything is special, by trying to force your idea that you're "special" down my throat.

Instead, prove it. But none of the progressives CAN, because they're NOT. What they ARE, are children, and people who act like children.

Instead, you'll get my disdain.

Characters of different backgrounds in comic books are a good way for children to find heroes that are relatable to them. That way, for example, a black child doesn't have to read comic books exclusively about white men.

And yes, protesting against this is racist.

Have u watched Luke Cage? The only significant white character in the series is the corrupt cop. They keep pandering to blacks but are so deeply racists they couldn't paint blacks and whites mixing together in the same neighborhood and the superhero being black...
The same team had no problem with Iron Fist being the white guy that beats an entire community of Asians in the search for the holly grail, cause Asians require less pandering then blacks and women.
Like with women's rights and working outside your home, this was painted with bright colors but in the end it boils down to more cows to milk.
Notice, Luke was already in the comics when I stopped buying them and I loved him. Mike Coulter does a pretty good job with the character even if it pales to Jon Bernthal's Punisher and the overall series isn't bad, it's the writers and producers obnoxious pandering that makes it snowty, cause they don't even bother to hide it in the plot, it is as obvious as it can be cause is the pandering in itself that is expected to grant the views, not the quality of the product.

Yep that's how things roll nowadays. Your either "with" or "against". Civilization my ass.

I myself am very cynical. I don't believe in humanity. We will either be destroyed by debauchery or nationalism. Both are wrong and both are gaining momentum. Nothing changes. Great times to be living in...

Actually, having diverse characters in movies is a big deal, otherwise there wouldn't consistently be an internet backlash about it.

For example, Captain Marvel wouldn't have produced such strong reactions on the internet unless male chauvinism was a real thing, which indeed it is, and it is present in this very forum. If that movie was released and there had been crickets on Youtube, then that would be a strong indication that male chauvinism is dead.

no Blizzardsoyboy, the new "all female" films just suck rotten donkey dick. The writing of them is just ass. and only illiterate idiots such as the Cuckstalgia Cucktic of Channel Sexualabusesome would defend them.

You don't see people complaining about Ripley in Aliens or Sarah Connor in the good Terminator movies. no one's complaining about good writing for female characters in entertainment.

For example Dykebusters.

The token black female in that film was a loud and obnoxious ghetto kween. while the black dude in original, good Ghostbusters had a science background and a PhD. the difference is night and day. don't remember him being the "aw crap n-word" type.

Also blizzardsoyboy, the latest outrage is the supposedly unrealistic proportions of Uzaki-chan. go rage about that.

1. Alien was released before social media.
2. The female leads in Alien and Terminator weren't heroes/superheroes from the beginning. They were forced into it through circumstance. The first Alien movie has a quasi-horror genre to it and characters in those situations are always forced to be strong or die.
3. The new Ghostbusters was a bad movie but specifically complaining about it because of the all-female team is male chauvinism.

You don't have a backlash about Alita, The Old Guard or Tomb Raider. You have it when poorly written plots and characters are shoved in to our throats and expected to be a success at the box office, cause blacks, women.
The day I see the Acacia series turned in to a movie or tv series with the quality David Anthony Durham work deserves, I'll be screaming louder then Amber.

yes, garbage writing is what makes them suck ass. even the slave trader feminist get's it.

Also every capecrap story, the non crossover versions are the origin story. have you watched any capecrap at all blizzardsoyboy? the same formula is in every single capetard marvel film. the one's journey on being a hero. including Captain Feminism and Black Pander, and the rest of the garbage films.

Mmmkay. Then how about Furiosa (Charlize Theron) from Mad Max who will have her own movie (although with different actress, yet the character herself made it happen)? Or Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot)? Natalie Portman in Anihilation? Felicity Jones in Rogue 1 who eats Ray for breakfest? Saoirse Ronan as Hanna? Or Scarlet Johanson as Black Widow (hey look a simple "special agent woman" yet she holds her own against superhumans) or Atomic Blonde? Or a bit older movie but Liv Tyler as Arwen in LotR or Evangeline Lily as Tauriel in Hobbit?

All of those ladies were remarkable in their roles, have a lot of class (even if their roles usually take them through many ordeals) and I definately wouldn't even think of any other actresses in their respective roles... keep in mind we're talking action movie, don't even get me started on dramas or historic movies.

Also Catwoman or Black Cat. Ok Blizz forgot Barbarella, the Queen of the Galaxy. Older than Alien. If I remember yet, oldest movie is Metropolis. Maybe American Blizz thinks American actresses. Ok then.

And we are skipping Queen of the South with Alice Braga, cause she isn't a super hero and Luther cause he was never white, so he couldn't be washed before thrown in our faces and that isn't pandering enough.
Turn sarcasm on
It even looks like women and blacks have enough awareness to watch something good with characters of their own race or sex and feel recognized.
No! It has to be a manly character turned gay, a white person turned black, a man turned in to a woman. Only in these cases can those brain death minorities sense they're being elevated.

I'm not going through every action/adventure/sci fi movie with a female character. I do know that Wonder Woman, Rogue One, and Natalie Portman in general have all been ripped on.

A lot of these comments made on social media end up deleted because they are openly inflammatory. The fact is, a modern phenomena in Western society is that people scapegoat the mistreatment or oppression of women all on Muslims while simultaneously ignoring the rampant amount of sexual harassment, sexual abuse, and in general, toxic male chauvinism towards women.

That says a lot about social media and the cancel culture but very little about the righteousness of the comments.

Maybe if one day someone cuts off your disproportional dick without anesthesia you came to understand there is a difference between mean comments and effective sexual mutilation but I won't be betting on it. I can't say much about your experience in a totally different environment but around here things are still changing for the better.
For instance, I still remember when it became common for a man and a woman to show affection in public (even if this was when I was still a child) but today you see both male and female couples everywhere and everybody seams ok with it, not even paying attention. When I was on my teens someone calling you paneleiro (a quite offensive denomination for gay) would be something that could only be washed with blood, now people would look sideways at the insulting one and call him rude.

The original Ghostbusters may have been a new and exciting thing back in the day, but now it seems clichéd and boring. Probably because it was so influential then.

How are women a minority? There are more women in the world than men.
