It's so cool that you are writing a lore PandaTar. Yah cross making traits of different species and also making them appear good and bad while simultaneously allowing them a second chance to redeem themselves in some way is very live like. I mean in real life a lot of good guys (or who we think are) are the bad guys and the bad guys are the good guys. While more realistically everyone is a bad guy who can do some good from time to time But creature spells are interesting if I were you I would just copy past from here https://dndguide.net/  but since you are scaling away from D&D It might not help much. Also, you can incorporate elements of different creatures. Just a suggestion...

The two really are quite similar to each other in some ways. After all, medusa/gorgon and dragon/wyvern are pretty much the same things.

I tend to think of warlocks as the ones who twist existing creatures into different forms. Minotaurs and manticores seem like obvious examples of creatures that are results of mixing different species. Beholders seem like a monster that is entirely created by magic. Troglodytes might just happen to live underground where warlocks made their home. Dragons are interesting. It seems you wouldn't really be able to tame them with magic or create them. They're also the only ones that don't really seem to fit underground, because how are they gonna make proper use of their wings. I'd say more snake-like, wingless dragons would fit better.

Dungeon reminds me a little bit of Tolkien lore. There you have the evil god Morgoth, who twists existing living beings and creates his own creatures out of them, like turning elves into orcs or ents into trolls. And this twisting of life forms to his will is described as a particularly evil act.

This would fit well into the dungeon/tower antagonism, too. Dungeon creates monsters with magic, Tower creates constructs with magic.

And dragons and titans hate each other, which I still find interesting. I don't want to get into the whole "are titans constructs or not" controversy in here, but I'd almost go so far as to claim that if titans are constructs, created by Tower, then red and black dragons were also somehow created by Dungeon. They would be twisted forms of other dragons. I admit, the chances are high that I am overthinking this.

I haven't quite made my mind up about Fortress. Beastmasters would certainly be good at taming monsters.

So maybe Fortress tames existing monsters and dungeon forms new ones? Also making dungeon the much more evil faction?

wyverns can totally work in dungeon too, e.g cave wyverns.
