Sorry for the suggestion Ghost... I think many people were disappointed. Maybe he can resell it when he gets it cus Sony blocked the digital distribution so you can only get the game only physically now  . Well they promised the game will be fixed. Patch 1.05 was released, two big patches coming February and January.
For now I kinda shelfed the game (hoping to play it later in a more close-to-finished state), but will probably play some more cus Xmas break, so want to use the fact I have some free time on me.

Sad they blew something which was supposed to be a celebration of last-gen, gaming and the genre.
At this point I don't want to defend the game as it is dumpster fire but only keep in mind you can practically make such "bug montages" from any AAA game nowadays. Although seeing the framerate on Xbox is worrysome. Releasing a game in such a state is simply criminal. Really questions the chain-of-decisions in CDProjekt. It seems like they didn't even look at the game on last-gen consoles to begin with or decided to look away...

Actually the game itself (not on technical level) is pretty well realized. The world is unique and well thought-out. I even have some friends who say it's the best game they played in months (one friend was totally hyped and he even took a vacation leave just to play this game and he said he lost the track of time while playing it, giving it a 9/10 at minimum). Too bad it's all buried under technical issues and bad PR. But for the game to be in this state after such a long development time... this doesn't tell anything good about their planning and risk management processes.
Oh well, at least they gave something to talk about at the end of "Corona year" 
But probably this discussion should be moved to some "other games" thread...

Actually they mistranslated the Mayan calendar. 2012 for them correctly translated is 2020 for us. So that makes a lot more sense

While it can be uplifting to think of the new year as a fresh start, to me it's really not. The situation of the past year simply carries over to the next. So it's not like on Jan 1 things will be different and we'll be instantly rid of the sanitary dictatorship.
But to see this in a more positive light, I'd compare it to your hero's stats, skills and spells moving on to the next scenario of a campaign in Heroes.
Live the journey, for every destination is but a doorway to another.

By the way from what I gather the next gen consoles and PC have a fairly decent supporting crowd. (I also may have heard PS4 pro is decent to run CP2077)
Don't mark what im saying here as fact.
However PS4 and Xbox one were utter fails that is the basis of why the developers are being sued.
The producers have admitted they intentionally kept that hidden because it was to horrible for demonstration.

I spent a few hours between this phones browser, google chrome, many of the google aps like google maps, and ultimately my google account..... turning off all history records, turn off location etc etc, clear out everything even my youtube search history.. All sync turned off and etc etc. THE WORKS.
I go to "google.com" and its nothing but showing my recent search results automatically localizing results to places near to me and also i come here and it has my password stored. My browser and google are not only tracking but saving and displayimg my recent search field entries, and my location is clear as glass to anyone who happens into my account.

There are also a lot of GTA vs Cyberpunk 2077 comparison videos out on yt (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wuw_RK-4Dg8). And C77 is getting roasted there, especially with GTA 3: SA comparisons . The highlights are how superior the Euphoria physics are (ragdolls, car physics) and how much more details are there in GTA games, even though the newest one is already 7 years old. Ouch. But that's what you get when you try to spar with the heavywights, advertising a game as a fully immersive expieriences. So, players being the "we check" types are now doing so and blasting the game. And the game is really lazy at times, I expected so much more from CDProjekt RED, the game being their "dream child". That's not how you treat what you love...
In a nuthsell the game simpy looks lazy when it comes to immersion. Like they put all their steam into visuals, which are great as I didn't see any such detailed sandbox game ever, but it could've been so much more as a whole.

I was so hyped for cyberpunk. I played the tabletop when i was like 16 or 17, i dig sci fi related stuff and out side of KOTOR, i havent had the opportunity.
