Fred, your problem is you don't allow debate. You claim something, and if it gets refuted, you don't argue, you just rant that we don't get it. You know, I do think it is possible that the election was stolen, but I don't have evidence. I have suspicions, things that aren't completely clear. I would be happy to hear sound arguments.

-i- don't allow debate? was i the one who deleted links and threads? was i -ever- the one arguing with facts? you name just ONE time i ever did that.

you guys continually attribute actions and beliefs to me, that pertain to YOU. this snow is ridiculous. if you believe there was a possibility of fraud, and you're willing to debate, like you say, then you wouldn't have argued with me, and would have spoke up about what was done to stifle both myself, and what i was trying to point out.

you guys are so full of snow, it's absurd. you HAVE to see how full of snow you are. how in the living hell is it possible that you can't? how is it that you can allow yourselves to believe an OPPOSITE reality? what. the. snow. is. WRONG. with. you. people?

i used to be a leftist, like you all. are you telling me you people are INCAPABLE of breaking the conditioning on your own like i did??? WHY????

we can clearly see eye to eye on insignificant levels(homm3); but not with the real world. once you guys figure out that it's because you've been literally PROGRAMMED to think like you do when it comes to real life, you just MIGHT see how you're all being played for FOOLS by the people i'm always trying to warn you about.

if you seriously ever wanted information on the fraud, you wouldn't have been so quick to stifle and flat-out ignore it. if you are actually willing to learn about it NOW, the sites where everything was collected should still be up.

and if you want a new link, Time Magazine posted an article GLOATING about the fraud. this is ya'll's own leftist msm platform; right out in the open. do you get it yet? they don't even bother HIDING their filth anymore. they know they are now UNTOUCHABLE. they did(and do) the exact same thing you guys did here: stifle and ignore your opponents.

The Time article doesnt suggest the election was rigged, on the contrary, it suggests people made sure it wasnt. You hear (read), what you want to hear:

Their work touched every aspect of the election. They got states to change voting systems and laws and helped secure hundreds of millions in public and private funding. They fended off voter-suppression lawsuits, recruited armies of poll workers and got millions of people to vote by mail for the first time. They successfully pressured social media companies to take a harder line against disinformation and used data-driven strategies to fight viral smears. They executed national public-awareness campaigns that helped Americans understand how the vote count would unfold over days or weeks, preventing Trump’s conspiracy theories and false claims of victory from getting more traction. After Election Day, they monitored every pressure point to ensure that Trump could not overturn the result. “The untold story of the election is the thousands of people of both parties who accomplished the triumph of American democracy at its very foundation,” says Norm Eisen, a prominent lawyer and former Obama Administration official who recruited Republicans and Democrats to the board of the Voter Protection Program.

This is the inside story of the conspiracy to save the 2020 election, based on access to the group’s inner workings, never-before-seen documents and interviews with dozens of those involved from across the political spectrum. It is the story of an unprecedented, creative and determined campaign whose success also reveals how close the nation came to disaster. “Every attempt to interfere with the proper outcome of the election was defeated,” says Ian Bassin, co-founder of Protect Democracy, a nonpartisan rule-of-law advocacy group. “But it’s massively important for the country to understand that it didn’t happen accidentally. The system didn’t work magically. Democracy is not self-executing.”

That’s why the participants want the secret history of the 2020 election told, even though it sounds like a paranoid fever dream–a well-funded cabal of powerful people, ranging across industries and ideologies, working together behind the scenes to influence perceptions, change rules and laws, steer media coverage and control the flow of information. They were not rigging the election; they were fortifying it. And they believe the public needs to understand the system’s fragility in order to ensure that democracy in America endures.

It's funny how they write about ousting Trump as it was a "titanic" war effort of some kind.

They simply "removed" a president that was choosen democratically in previous vote, who lost by 4.5% of popular vote. That is not much different then in past few elections with only Obama winning by something like 7%. It's not like the whole "Nation" suddenly turned on him per se, 10 to 1. In a bigger perspective one could even say that USA is split in half and only some shifts in a percentage of populations voters mindset decide who ultimately rules. Yet media make a big deal of it, like the article in previous post shows.

USA is a funny country.

Well, the article’s point is that the conspiracies Trump fueled way before the election started could cast a shadow of doubt on the legitemacy of the results if it wasnt for a collective effort to make sure the conspiracies were not grounded.

And supposedly without it Trump would win by what, 4.5%? I thought "everyone" hated the guy...

No, the point is not him winning but creating a doubt that he actually did and was overthrown. Imagine 30-40 percent of the Americans (or whatever) thinking like fred does now.

So what? 18% of Clinton voters declared they believe 2016 election was rigged, then 33% declared they will never accept Trump as president.

Look, you can think the article is exagerrating the tensity before the election, basically, I think it’s also a literary device to turn the conspiracy rhetoric upside down, “oh yes there was a mass effort but…” The thing is, fred keeps telling he links cyrstal clear evidence of rigged elections and we ignore them, while in reality, nothing he links is that and his latest “evidence” is actually an article about how the election was NOT rigged.

Conspiracy theories about fraud aren't a new thing to US politics. People have emptily claimed that stuff since the 18th century as a sort of Patellar Reflex reaction to somebody winning who they strongly dislike. The difference in 2016 is when it was done by an extremely high profile person, i.e. the president, who has an extremely large audience of people.

So, Salamandre's example of some Democrats refusing to accept the 2016 election results isn't a good equivalent because that just happened at a grassroots level with random people who were unhappy with the election results and not something being promoted from the top. Hillary Clinton accepted the results, conceded, and the Democratic Party moved on to planning for the 2018 midterms.

Fast forward to the present, and now the former president has lost a lot of his online platform for spreading his messages. He ragequit his blog after about a month because it wasn't getting enough views. https://www.forbes.com/sites/jackbrewster/2021/06/02/trump-shuts-down-much-hyped-blog/?sh=6724202c3376

So it seems, at least for the moment, that the threat to democracy is fairly well contained, although 3 years is a long time in the world of politics so we'll just have to wait and see. The GOP is in a very precarious position because although Trumpian politics with its strong emphasis on charisma and nationalism and "We are victims" is in vogue right now, it is a massive turnoff for constituents who are borderline, which is something that the party cannot afford, and they know this perfectly well but they aren't quite sure what to do about it because they don't want to anger their base either.

Ultimately, the biggest factor that will determine the 2022 and 2024 elections will be jobs and the economy, as always. Ideological issues always come in 2nd. Unemployment has dipped post-pandemic so it needs to hold for another few years.

Resting my case there.

I'd like to see a little more disdain for fake presidents.

utter, complete bullsnow. you people need to understand something: trump wasn't FUELING conspiracies against him; the conspiracy was HAPPENING against him, even before he took office. this is a fact; and it is public snowing record. the dnc literally made snow up and used the fbi to ILLEGALLY spy on him, then literally made up snow about "ties to Russia". funny how you conveniently forgot those facts. add to that, the entire msm attacking the man for over 4 years, even when he was a sitting president, and on top of THAT, trying to IMPEACH him, and THAT'S where the knowledge they were going to oust him however they could CAME from. only liars and people with room-temperature iq's didn't see the election fraud coming.

and on top of all THAT, the election fraud EVIDENCE speaks for itself. and the ONLY way your kind argue against it is to just DENY it, by telling people that there is NO evidence of fraud, despite the overwhelming EVIDENCE to the contrary.

you people are abhorrent deniers of FACTS. and WHY? because you believe the people LYING to you, and USING you to help accomplish THEIR ends. and you people have the audacity to act like you're impartial when it comes to political parties. you're absolutely FULL of snow.
