I remember when I was first playing Heroes 4, I thought it was so awesome that I figured Heroes 4 must be the world's greatest achievement thus far.
I was around 8-9 years old. Great times.

Most people who have played the series and can see the objectively bad changes from the franchise.

many of HotA changes from their new creatures to creatures accumulating are from H4
As well as many H5 stuff like caravans and creatures having spell books likewise.
And there is no eagle eye, mysticism, artillery or first aid skills ;=)

well, nobody ever put mechanics of h3 in an h4 mod
