I just assasinated William Shakespeare and got 6 Culture Points for it!
Probably because it's such a cultural feat. 
I'm playing Through The Ages with my wife and, man - that was fun. Not for her, I can tell you. As a result, she's heavily investing into military, and I expect trouble.
Anyway, we still play the original version from 2006 - then the best game I've ever played. I just ordered the new version of 2015 which has supposedly been tweaked to utter perfection.
Really looking forward to trying it.

One of my ex-girlfriends was into Diablo 3 and we used to play together. It doesnt make much of a difference when it’s two different computers in two different rooms. I think a board game is more ideal to spend time with your girl, I tried that, too. But the best is to play poker, the whole bluffing phase gets filled with super sexual tension.

I'm not sure I dig the "sexual tension" thing, playing poker with your friend. I mean, why would you play poker with your girlfriend for something else than clothes, anyway? 
Playing an adventure game (cooperatively) can be a lot of fun as well (which is probably the reason why there is now an increasing number of board adventure games.

If you look at the context I think it’s pretty obvious what I’m talking about is playing poker with your girlfriend/wife, JJ. Why should there be sexual tension in the first place, when playing with your friends
But it doesnt have to be strip poker. I dont know if it would still work when you are married for long long years though.

What I mean is, when you play POKER with your girlfriend and ONLY your girldfriend, it's about the sexual tension anyway and nothing else. It's a game of stakes and raising them, after all.
