That's not even a progressive phrase, my dude. It's just a dumb meme phrase. And I hate it. Not as much as Sus or Amongus, but those are recent things, so my loathing for those dumb memes has recency bias.

it might be a meme phrase, but it reflects a mentality that is "progressive". the whole trap phenomenon was something that started on a site i had been part of since it's inception; originally as a meme(in reality, this kind of thing had been a fringe since wayyy back). what was once seen as a joke to be laughed at, is now taken seriously. not just acceptable, but sought-after. i know perversion has existed since forever, but i watched the gradual acceptance of this perversion, so that it became mainstream in a sense. and from that acceptance, came the acceptance and mainstream promotion of transgenderism. slippery slope, meming into reality, life reflects art and so and so, yada yada yada.
denouncing reality doesn't make it less real. what's next, acceptance of pedophilia and necrophilia? beastiality? because once you go down the rabbit hole, you'll find there is only a bottom if you will it to be. this kind of snow is just another way societies crumble and fall apart. it is disastrous thinking, that leads to disastrous acts. language attempting to NORMALIZE this destruction of decency, infuriates me.

Btw, although you two suit each other quite well, it might be dangerous to associate fred with reality and keep feeding his delusion that everybody who disagrees with him is delusional. I mean dangerous for him, as in encouraging him and worsening his convictions. In the past, moderation literally requested the community to stop calling him mentally ill, suggesting that, even if it's true, there's no way to be sure on an online environment and it's unethical to do so. So, putting aside "the blind leading the blind" aspect of it all, you may actually be enabling a person's distorted perceptions to sink in even deeper.
Thanks to you, we'll probably be facing more of his endless rants now. You have found a way to flood the forums even indirectly.

The verifiable information does not classify transexuality as a mental illness. The problem is how you don't get that to begin with. Genes and hormones functioning differently is not a mental delusion. Why are you okay with gays then? Shouldnt that also be a perversion by your perspective?
And I didnt insult you. I dont even dislike you, fred. But you do disconnect from reality and strongly believe things are the other way around sometimes and your posting style becomes quite annoying when you do. I sincerely think Gandalf enabling that is a dangerous thing.

Not that I dismiss them but they take clearly a side, by being overwhelmingly positive in a domain we know so little - I visit regularly psychiatrists for my sleep and they are clueless when it comes to reality or material results but keep talking. So, you're suggesting that Russia's institutions are less influenced by politics and ideology than Western democracies? Sorry, but suggesting that peer reviewed scientific studies themselves are political is streching things too far.
Having a mental illness can mean:
1- Your perception of reality is severely distorted. You hear, see things that dont exist. Having an intersex condition is certainly not that.
2- You can have an anti-social personality disorder, lacking empathy completely, therefore directly harming others. Sociopaths... They are not that either.
3- You can suffer intolerable levels of stress, anxiety. When they are not discriminated and when you let them be in the gender identity of their choice, that's also not the case. There are functioning members of society who are LGBT.
The political climate and the condition itself are separate things. And when it comes to the political climate, take here for instance, you (not directly you) are the ones who keep bringing this up, opening a new thread almost each day. On average, how many transgender persons you pass by in a week, 2,3? Not even that most probably. How is this a craze? You speak of it as some kind of zombie invasion when in fact they are an extreme minority.
