Fred, “to ridicule” implies you are not just making fun but you’re doing it in a harsh way. Using a different unit of temperature is not something you ridicule people with, your paranoia is dragging you to new levels of unproportional reasoning. I’d recommend to stop saying things like “out of touch with reality” because in the state you’re in, it just sounds sad and ironic.
