I have a reddit account that I only use to call out really dumb takes and call people retards, and I enjoy the salty comments I get back leading up to automated messages about being banned from various subreddits. Should I ask for forgiveness from the higher powers or keep doing what I do "trolling" each and every group of people I come across that sounds like a fun target to get a little bit of back-and-forth action with? I find it really funny to find people that do not understand that literally everything they read on the internet is based on someone else's agenda and the reactions they give are exactly what is expected of them. There was a time where I would have considered people like myself today a parasite, or a "waste of space", but the environment of today's internet has been going to a direction of people incapable of critical thinking and being absolute worthless sacks of snow that I no longer care at all.

i used to do what you did back when i first got on the internet. then i realized by doing so, i was only lowering myself beneath those i held contempt and disgust for.
not all of the internet is propaganda. there are facts to make decisions with; you just have to find them. if you can't learn to seperate the disinformation from actual information, and want to continue being a douchebag as i was, then i guess reddit is a good place for that. the people who linger under a site deliberately blocking anything that isn't disinfo, and so full of sjw's standing around jerking each other off for virtue points, that they really deserve what they get.
so i guess, as long as you contain your douchebaggery there, i don't really see an issue with it. so, pointless of me to even respond, i guess.

The thing is that I used to be like you, thinking I was "on the right side" on most issues, assuming that people disagreeing with my thoughts are the ones in the wrong, when in the end there's actually nobody in the right. There are no bastions of correctness to find that are right and sensible and against this "SJW" culture. There are no real opinions to separate from the mass that is the collective voice of the world. And there are no virtue points that I am after, as evidenced by the sheer mass of downvotes most of my points get
For a long time I would have been seen as a left-leaning person by American political standards. You can keep thinking that there are groups of people that seem to be the "rational" thinkers and lone people that are the only ones that make sense and are correct, but in the end literally nobody has a correct view on any of the complex issues we face today, and it is better to assume that somebody is trying to make you think a certain way than it is to be content with your view. We have evolved to a point in society (for better or worse) where there are no real "groups" that you should agree or disagree with, there is nobody that has the answers and you are better off completely alone. If anyone ever agrees with you, that is the best moment to start doubting what you think.
I do appreciate your response, more than anything else. But what I feel (I know, completely irrelevant) is that you think there is a factual truth to find out on the internet above all the lies and misinformation. A truth that is somehow hidden from the masses and kept secret. The thing is that there isn't one. People always find a group that agrees with them and it is irrelevant to argue or try to get your point across, especially on issues where there really is no right answer. I understand the paradox it is for me to talk what I do while claiming that I am somehow not behind an agenda, and I find it a little bit funny.
There is nothing but propaganda on the internet. There is no collective, there is no community. If you feel like something, question that something and ponder why people have made you feel that way. There is no information, only misinformation. There is no truth. If thinking this makes me a douchebag, then I am a douchebag.

trolling because of hate is the douchebaggery i was referring to. from your first post, i got the impression you didn't like people, so you snow with them. myself, i don't like some people, but i still try to reach a common ground with them; despite the fact i've been doing so for years and getting nowhere.
as far as info/disinfo, i disagree with you. there ARE plain facts out there to form an opinion on. you CAN know the truth by deseminating the world around you, without feelings to muddy the waters. i also disagree that someone disagreeing with you is a sign you yourself are wrong; propagandized minds will never enlighten you. i would agree it's important to have your facts straight before coming across as a fool in any open debate, though.
of course, it would help exactly what KIND of propaganda you're referring to, also. i understand the skepticism to trust information, but information can be cross-referenced with unbiased statistical facts and some foreknowledge/details of said topic to produce a near-complete picture of whatever the debate is about.

We once got a mod of a now nuked discord to ban people for disagreeing with his take of "video games are degenerate" and other nazi larp BS, guys made memes, copypastas and other crap. the guy banned basically all of the active users, and then another mod had to come in revoke all of the bans. The mod we trolled rage quit soon after.

It's just stuff we did for amusing ourselves. don't really think much about it.
Another good one. One guy was sperging about anime being degenerate because he was tricked into seeing boku no pico or something, so basically everyone began spamming their waifu folders(no hentai snow, just regular pics of anime girls in lingerie/swimwear) for a week.
there was also a time when there was a debate, a heated one going on, and a dumbass mod banned the most calm guy in the debate, who was just explaining his own outlook on life, no cursing, no ad hominems.
Then on another discord, we tried and failed to get a brit guy laid with his female roommate who was into him. not the best wingman work, as the guy began idolising Oswald Mosley soon after. I don't even know how the bleep you get there in the first place.
