I dont root for anyone per se.
Where I live, this thing is highly associated with religion wars and an attack on Mescid-i Aksa.
If I were to go by that perception, anyone, anything, shutting the Islamists up is my ally because the more they fail, the more they boost the prayer. I mean literally. Each year, the mosques here broadcast the prayers in a fashion with no sense of respect, no sense of esthetics, no sense of ethics…
You try to concentrate on something you write, read, watch… The Big Brother starts screaming and you have to pause, at least five times a day but there are additional prayers, it’s like deliberate torture.
I have lost the ability to emphatize with anything regarding muslims.

Well...
If I had no other choice at all, I guess I'd go for Israel mostly because their brand of religious is less annoying.

That's because Evil Orange Hitler had cut aid to philistines, and had done effort to cease all the BS between the matzo munchers and camel enthusiasts.
But it had to be undone, because, you know, orange man bad.
I only support Isnotreal(I told this joke numerous times to israeli jews, and they found it hilarious btw) because it riles up the liberals going for muh palestine.
But on the other side, having jews running the place is better for their tourism industry, esspecially pilgrimages.

"USA is back". ... Honestly I don't know if related or not, didn't follow what happened in the US since the election, and that old conflict is one of the worst headaches...
