I have found that most forums have died a death over the years, even if they're still going, the off topic stuff where I spent most of my time even then tends to be pretty quiet. I used to regularly post on a civfanatics forum which had an excellent world history section. Back in the day there would be 5 new threads a day and a whole page of new replies. I just checked out of interest and half the posts on the most recent page are a year or more old now.
I guess people have moved onto social media and get a lot of their forum kicks from Reddit these days. Still good to see some of the old forums like this one kicking around though
I remember you! Back in 2001-2003 I was a fat teenager from Serbia who'd just got internet access and my memories of that period are mostly reading your posts debating the Iraq War (oh, and that thread about how IDF got started, Beg, Borrow, Steal).

Well well, I guess there's still some of us veterans kicking about 
Those days seem a lifetime ago now, what bothered me so much then seems almost trivial now. Still I had some good times and met some interesting people here.
