Death Blow

Works like the ability of Dread Knights but with 50%/75%/100% chance at Basic/Advanced/Expert Fire Magic. Duration - 1 round.

Drain Life

Works like the ability of Vampire Lords, but restores 30%/40%/50% of damage as Health. Cannot be cast on Stone/Obsidian Gargoyles, Golems, Elementals, and Vampire Lords themselves. Duration - SP rounds.

Summon Sprite

Summons 10/15/20 * SP Sprites at Basic/Advanced/Expert Air Magic.

Summon Magic Elemental

Summons 1/1.5/2 * SP Magic Elementals at Basic/Advanced/Expert. Belongs to all four Magic Schools.

Summon Firebird

Summons 0.5/0.75/1 * SP Firebirds at Basic/Advanced/Expert Fire Magic.

Updated the links in the first post (Drain Life fix).


My balance reccomendations:
- Make Death Blow last ( SP rounds ) and reduce chances to 20%/40%/60%.
This is due to now being basically gambling, 50% chance and if it doesn't trigger? You just wasted a spell. Normally H3 spells aren't like that. By making it last more rounds it's a long term advantage much like other blessings.


- Death Cloud: Keep the Undead immune.
This makes it different from Fireball, otherwise it's just a Fireball clone basically. Also it would be confusing that, using the same graphic, sometimes undead are immune and sometimes not. Death Ripple also works like this (doesn't damage undead) and it's on Earth magic, so it makes sense.

- Poison: Make Wyvern Monarch poison be 20% (advanced): creatures normally cast spells at Advanced level. Also, by making it dispellable, it's a very noticeable Wyvern Monarch nerf. The enemy will already be predisposed to use dispel/cure vs fortress due to Dragon Flies casting Weakness. Compare with Aging that is already much more powerful at cast.

You got it almost correctly except that there are no chances. Under Basic/Advanced Fear units do only 50%/25% of their retaliation damage.

We'll consider your suggestions, probably in the next update with brand new Mobility spell (the spell simply adds movement points). I'm not a big fan of this one, but Rolex thinks it will be interesting for some players.

Also, those who are good at English, if they wish, of course, could help us with writing spell descriptions in the true Heroes 3 key.

Sorry, but I don't plan to support the map editor. Still you can find spell scrolls with new spells when playing random maps.

Btw, the latest version of the NewSpells mod is there. We added one adventure spell called Mobility, and I fixed some bugs, so if you want to test it, welcome.

What's mobility? = Fly? I must 2 times cheat, because don't see . I used only one time in one day this.

Yes, this spell is somehow dull. You just receive +300 MP, and can cast the spell 1/2/3/4 times at None/Basic/Advanced/Expert Fire Magic. We really need a good idea for a new adventure spell.

Updated the plugin. As savegames format changed because of new spell Mobility, don't use old savegames with this plugin.

Which map? Also make sure to start a new game. Your old games won't work with the plugin.
