Iratus - Lord of the Dead
Picked that game up on Halloween sale at Steams for -70% and what can I say...

Didn't play Darkest Dunegon (but probably will, since it's cheap now), so I can't really say. But it reminds me of HoMM in some way.
EDIT: I read a couple of the comments and it would seem, that the game is like Darkest Dungeon minus the brutal resource management, since it's reversed sides: you are causing the stress and insanity and you get your minions from parts you gain via battles (since there is a lot more you can do with battle parts than just create new minions, and you need minions not only for battle but for other things as well, you can never have enough parts, though).
I enjoy this a lot, since there is a lot of leveling involved which comes with a lot of choices and that includes the talents of your minions, which is somewhat reminiscent of HoMM's alternative upgrades.
I suppose it's less rogue-like and more homm-like than DD, then.

Dungeon survival on phones or devices is like darkest dungeon but in my opinion better. Except development lacks in end game.
I might have to try this game jj
