Too soon. And in my opinion not necessary. But if Putin is finished, China is alone.. the globalists win.

Good gracious. China owns half the world already - economically. They will use the xanctions and the crisis in general to buy even more of the world.

China owns this. Not the globalists - whoever they are.

Currently, if sanctions don't change sometime in the near future, it's looking like Russia is going to become a much more closely linked trading partner with China, similar to the relationship that China already has with Pakistan.

And then if the West is mad about China doing business with them, let's see the West put the same bold sanctions on China they've been putting on Russia. They won't do it.

Russia has continued to be viewed as a major player for the past 30 years, largely due to its very large military budget, but it if can't salvage what it has been doing this week, it's going to be demoted to Pakistan status. A large country with a fairly large population that has a strong economic dependence on China for growth and sustenance. Meanwhile, after 500 years of indecision, Germany has raised its defense budget above 2% and other EU countries will likely be bumping it up as well.

It's a bad decade.

The globalist = that pic that showed Obama, the Clintons, the Bushes.. standing together ex Trump, basically the professional politician. Now you can say there is nothing wrong with that, but the end result is obscene taxes, welfare state, and feminism.

Russia isn't surprising sanction, etc Remember 193 members, and then they go against Russia.

Daniel 11:40

King James Version

40 And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him: and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass over.

Why Russia doesn't use full power yet.. If South King goes to war.. NATO can't participate.. An idiot game by the old world.. is collapsed now..

The Bible says when end time:

1 Thessalonians 5

King James Version

3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Too long war

In times of conflict, the first casualty is always the truth.

Don't let the mainstream dictate what to think and how to react, start by listening the whole Putin's speech, take a moment to digest it and only then deal and cross info with the all the noisy parrots who already had their narrative written 20 years ago.

Mourning the war victims is being humane, but don't let that lure you, as every war has to go through such sacrifices, so it can change things - sometimes for the better, sometimes for the worst.

Speak your convictions when you processed all the data, from all sides. Keep in mind there is no evil or good, especially when the ones proclaiming themselves "the good"  today, still have the blood of millions on their hands, from not so long ago.

That's most blatant rubbish. The Ukrainians have "the blood of millions on their hands"?

If we wanted to accept such whataboutism we could just go full nuclear war because the Yanks did it in 1945.

Friends, welcome to the new Cold War. Thanks a lot, Putin!

That Nuclear Threat is an issue we must all take seriously - remembering that I was alive when the 1983 Soviet Nuclear False Alarm Threat happened - I was only three - and they nearly had a Nuclear Apocalypse then as well!

And yet I was old enough to remember the first Cold War that lasted for over four decades!

Let's not hope for the end of humanity because of one miscalculation...

Bunker down if needed.

50% of russians believe NATO is responsible for the crisis, only 4% believe Russia is the aggressor.

Highly depends on the age group of people being asked.

From what I see around me in Tomsk, Siberia (you can safely count it as a distant eastern province), most of anti-war sentiment comes from millenials who rose in the times of free internet. Which is, seemingly, becoming less and less free everyday for the last 5 years, like traditional mass media a decade before.

Our internet currently shows an unprecedented level of mutual agreement between people of arts, scientists, bloggers, IT specialists and, well, general populace that the "special operation" (which is, by the way, prohibited to be called war by Russian media supervisory authorities) is unnecessary and must be stopped. A very few amount of influencers openly support the current situation, which still doesn't stop many people from engaging in flame wars.

Don't know if this is true. Kremlin keeps silent or deny that it has casualties to not provoke protests.

@Sal

It's pretty clear who is the aggressor here, attacking a sovereign nation on false pretext. Russia wants to keep Ukraine in its own sphere of influence, whatever that is. The only valid criticism of Ukraine is that they didn't comply with the Minsk agreements, but neither did the Russian-backed separatists.

Russia has a bit of a point on NATO, but I don't think anyone in Europe wants to fight Russia, nor does it justify what's happening now. Russia has nukes after all. Why fight them, when you could just trade with them. It's all the paranoia of a KGB agent who grew up in the Cold War. If anything, it's a crisis of Russia's own making. I don't recall Ukraine wanting to join NATO before Crimea, the 2013-14 protests were pro-EU, not pro-NATO.

You have a point about the death of truth, but if anything, I'd say Russia killed truth long ago. Putin, Lavrov,  etc. and state Russian media have been spouting Goebbles tier lies for the past few years, twisting the truth in any way possible. Everyone they don't like, aka opposition, is a western agent, sponsored by Soros's NGOs. They aren't waging war, it is a 'special operation' to liberate Ukraine from a 'nazi regime', a 'humanitarian  operation', if you will. Just like in the Winter war Molotov denied bombing Helsinki, the USSR was just airdropping food to help the starving Fins. It's all lies and disinformation. Much, much worse than in the West.

PS: By Russia I mostly mean Putin and his kleptocracy.
