Apparently it's no without risk since 2014 to be a Russian oligarch.

I won't speculate like USAtoday about whether Putin has something to do with it or not (or whether Ukrainian killers are active since the war and assassinate obscenely rich Russians or that it's poetic justice or some such crap) - it's just an interesting occurence, and since this started in 2014, apparently, there migt be a connection.

Independent pollsters gave same results as official ones. Beside, Putin is one among many others, like whole EU for example, to prohibit sources they don't like.

Dunno what you're talking about, EU blocked in France RT and Sputnik medias. They were no holocaust deniers, and employees were mostly french.

So blocking the main media outlets of a country that is controlling the content of said media publications and uses them as a propaganda weapon in the context of a ruthless war of conquest as part of the sanctions against that country is now "prohibiting sources they don't like" - like Putin does?
You are overshooting - by lightyears.
And by the way, I have no idea how they poll this in Russia - but if were a Russian and would be asked about Putin and what I think about him I would be careful with my answer. VERY careful.

First, is not up to the EU bureaucrats to tell me what to listen and what not, people have still a brain and can make differences between lies and not lies. But when you block information, it is sure you want something to be hidden. If that goes with Putin, there is no reason it goes differently with anyone else.
And of course, it shows up later or sooner, we have some people coming back from the war-front and guess what, they report tons of things very different that what we are fed with.

They don't tell you what to listen or not - they closed the shops of the state-controlled propaganda outlets of a state that leads a war of conquest in Europe.

RT and Sputnik were banned on 27 of February. Putin launched his war on 24 of February. Can you point a single propaganda shot we had from them in those 3 days? No, there was none. That is called censure, Putin practices it, we practice it. Both sides are hiding things.
People coming from war-front are reporting how soldiers from Azov regiment, dressed as SS, are shooting in the knees handcuffed prisoners, are hiding weapons in civil houses, how every missed shot from Ukrainian artillery which ends by killing own civilians is reported as Russian and so on.
