I never said he’ll bring freedom to Twitter, I just filled Salamandre in what the fuss was about. And if you mean the original poster, I think he was being plainly sarcastic.
I dont actively use Twitter, 140 or 280, the limit makes the platform insufficient for me. So I wouldnt notice such details, it was 140 for quite a time, that’s what got stuck in my mind. I do have an account to be able to read Twitter links properly though.
I think it would be quite hard to be completely unaware of Twitter in today’s world, if you are an internet user.

exagerated maybe, but knowing gandalf political leanings i doubt he's being sarcastic.
Musk plays both ways tho, he even called himself a socialist as well as a free market libertarian, so...
He pushes crypto when convenient yet he is financed by government contracts.
As I said, never trust a billionarie, specially the most billionarie billionarie of all billionaries.

Then you condradict yourself, because you constantly complain about some “globalist order” and how people are brainwashed, flooding the forum with “big brother is watching you” type of argument, and now when Musk implies Twitter is not going to be as anonymous as it has been because… trolls, you say I hope it works.
But then again, maybe this is exactly what he’s talking about, so your kind of posting should be silenced by exposing identity for the sake of preventing noise pollution.

My view on this is more sinister. Along the lines of WEF/globalist etc.
Twitter is going to fade from public view, but it will continue to operate, much like a private "club" but for elites to concoct their schemes to control the world.
For Musk himself, obviously he wants to be emperor of the U.S./E.U., to be able to dictate policy.. but in my view, ofcourse, kinda self defeating because he can't even take criticism.

Do you know another guy who let people vote in a tax-the-rich debate about whether he should sell 10% (which is half of his Tesla share) Tesla shares so he would finally pay taxes (on the profit of selling the shares) - and DID sell the shares when people voted in favor of it?
Elon Musk is a pretty interesting human being, to say the least.

What surprised me is, that his idol is Thomas A. Edison, when it comes to business and Tesla when it comes to inventions. Which you can see as confirmed with his Tesla's cars nowaday.

Which is pretty reasonable, if you think about it.

The whole point from Musk buying Twitter was to *not* allow freedom of expression by dictating people to use "real ID" (and because he's a manbaby and wants to silence any opposition). So there is less freedom, not more. I bet biometric ID is coming soon. Don't tesla cars already use that? Ah, and they self-recall if you can't pay your dues. Dystopian.
Musk never had an option *not* to pay the taxes so the "people voting for it" never had any influence, it's just PR
Furthermore, considering he owns twitter now, he can manipulate any polls to his liking from now on.

Amazing how people create alternative reality before something ever happens.
Look, he said he is against censorship which goes beyond the law, that's all. Such censorship massively occurred since things didn't to the "correct way", like Trump winning in 2016, Brexit, rise of patriotic right-wing movements and such. There is nothing at this moment which suggests he will do this or that, let the man one chance then come b!tch!ng when you got some ground.

I see envy speaking out of you. Spending money (legally) in order to do what you want to do is the only reasonable reason why you would want to have a lot of money at all - why would you have money otherwise? To take a bath in it like Scrooge McDuck? To feel secure? To buy a lot of shares? To be happy you have a lot of money?
And you have no idea about what is propaganda and what not

Envy? Do you think slaves being resentful of slave owners is "envy" as well? I don't want to be a slave owner same as I don't want to be a billionarie slavedriver.
Quote: in order to do what you want to do is the only reasonable reason why you would want to have a lot of money at all - To take a bath in it like Scrooge McDuck? To feel secure? To buy a lot of shares? To be happy you have a lot of money?
All those things are things that you want to do. Anything yo voluntary do is doing "what you want" by definition. So your token is doing everything with money is OK by definition - even coups on sovereign governments like Bolivia for mining business interests, which Musk justified.
You are the one who doesn't have idea about what propaganda is. Selling stocks to pay taxes *that's he's legally obliged to pay for anyways* isn't an humanitarian action. FFS
"Tesla" is a big sham and an affront to the memory of Nikola TEsla. These "DLC cars" charge you thousands of dollars to software unlock fuctionality that is built in to the physical car. Plus the massive amount of rare metals needed for the batteries means they are not ecological at all.
Musk's lies have no end, remember the "hyperloop" which is now just a tunnel. A very bad, small, single-lane tunnel.
