Create a Heroes III miniature contest
Your task will be to create any creature miniature from Heroes of Might and Magic III using the Hero Forge online editor.
Creating in the editor is very simple and intuitive, I created the Skeleton Warrior you see in the picture in about 20 minutes.
The best Heroes III miniatures will be rewarded with GOG store credit and PC games (GOG and STEAM platform).
And finally the best. Greg Fulton (Lead designer of Heroes of Might and Magic III and now Fanstratics) and David Mullich
(aka hero Sir Mullich, Director of Heroes of Might and Magic III)
will help me pick the best Heroes 3 miniatures!
How can you enter the contest?
- create a Heroes 3 miniature in the HeroForge online editor
- max 2 entry per person
- add your name or nickname (see the video)
- make a screenshot (see the video)
- download the screenshot to your PC
- and send it to me at admin@heroes3wog.net
- the contest ends on September 15

do creators get to sign a paybable-on-delivery contract in case this work is afterward sold commercially by another party? because credit for games might not equate monetarily, to the end product being sold.
i just get the feeling that would-be creators could possibly be exploited in this endeavor. like "here, create this, you get the bragging rights and consumer points towards game content, and we sell your work and make real money from your non-contractual contribution".
...
after a quick perusal of the site and doing some simple math, my suspicions are confirmed. i mean sure, it looks fun, but you're not really getting any capital gained from said work; the owners of the site are. they're essentially having artists pay for their own work; albeit from pre-made material. and they're charging exorbitant prices for the content made by others. this site is exploitative, pure and simple.
