I need tips on how to get a girlfriend.
Except from ghost...
But I am new in this town and since my life has some worth and value now I feel sort of available.
(FEEL FREE TO SKIP THESE DETAILS AND GET TO THE QUESTION BELOW)
I went to a charity store and checked out this ladies wedding finger right, kind of an obvious peek right in front of her face. Well next time I went in I bought a book and she did this highly interested looking peek at what I was buying.
Long story short I volunteer now and will be there 15-25 hours per week. I was looking to volunteer somewhere anyways like an animal shelter but this crush I have inspired the place normally I wouldn't have.
Come to find, she has the cutest voice I may ever have heard in my life. So I'm not sure if by definition I am obsessed because the magnitude of my thought aren't very deep like they would have been for example in high school obsessions. But I am thinking about her kind of a lot. Hoping she starts inquiring about my life and maybe developing some mild flirtatious conversation.
I'll be there until after the holidays.
I was seeing a lady for a bit but she did t demonstrate eagerness enough to see me and said she needed her time off for mental health but would text 50+ times a day. I am not looking for pen pals. 1 date in over a month won't cut it when I offered lunch before work Anyways this brief relasionsjip has shown me my emotions are more mature than codependent and childish.
If me and this new infatuation doesn't go anywhere it'll be just fine. I'm volunteering for other reasons and not just because I have a crush. I'm not a creepy stalker on any level.

How should I start getting prospectives in my life which could lead to serious dating, monogamous commitments, and maybe more?
I am in my darn 40s and I'm not used to having my head together. The companions I've had were usually not responsible ladies.
This manager I hope will be the first "real woman" I start seeing. But just incase I am still open to meeting more females because who knows where a decent relationship will start.

I had 6 ex-girlfriends.. I wondered the only question form: GF.. When different forms are always GF, so "Ok are you my GF?" How? First woman will show you that interested you.. and you can ask GF.. without like, interest, sex, or love, you can't get a GF..
You can listen other experiences, opinions, etc I recommend.. When I don't want you failed your.. Because of 6 ex-girlfriends can be coincidence.. But my opinion if man doesn't ask for GF, so he failed.. I don't say "I love you", etc but I'm asking directly..

Beside Ghost, I am glad you asked this question. In all sincerity my time to shine.
Let's start with fundamentals, first thing is it seems you are way over invested with the volunteer commitment, even if that is why you are there, realise this and know you are doing it for fun/the experience so as to not be totally devasted when the inevitable rejection for being way too obvious and clingy comes.
The theory of getting a girl is that you should not want to get a girl
A girl folows a man's life, in fact it is only possible to get any reasonable quality that you actually want if you have the requisite life, and vice verse it is impossible to be dry if you're already doing well.

Thanks I'll be taking all of this in not just now but overtime.
Just to clarify I tried to volunteer at 4 other places before this one.
I am pretty much expecting her to be like "gosh, sorry but no" we'll see.
