Top 5-10 most powerful dragons in fiction

Well, I always wondered which dragon is the most powerful ever, so I made a thread here, now this is my rankings:

1. The Ur-Dragon (from MTG)

The Ur-Dragon, Progenitor of Fire, is an enormous and immensely powerful Dragon Avatar. An entity from the dawn of time, it is the primordial essence of all Dragonkind in the Multiverse. With its wings, that extend across the eternities, it stirs the fabric of the cosmos. Its breath bellows over the mortals, stealing the essence of life. With claws that rake the aether, it sunders ancient bonds. Thanks to its eyes, the Ur-Dragon perceives the deepest truths concealed in the wells of time. Its bellowing roar summons its brood, echoing through the blood of all dragonkind, for the Ur-Dragon is the progenitor from which the dragons of the Multiverse spawned.

The Ur-Dragon is described as a huge, dark and terrifying shadow. It is a being that lives betwixt and between, in a place and in no place: it is apparently blind. In its travel through the planes, it creates storms with the beating of its wings: from such storms other dragons are born. Its "children" include the twin Elder Dragons Ugin and Nicol Bolas, as well as their siblings and cousins.

2. Nicol Bolas (from MTG)

The nameless, former planeswalker once called Nicol Bolas (born Nicol) is the youngest and most infamous of the seven Elder Dragons that survived the Elder Dragon War. He was also known as the Forever Serpent, the Horned One, the God-Emperor of Madara, as well as the Second Sun and God-Pharaoh of Amonkhet. After his downfall in the War of the Spark - during which he briefly became a near-omnipotent Dragon-God - he was magically stripped of all names and titles by his twin brother Ugin to prevent anyone from summoning him ever again. He is dead to the Multiverse, his survival known only to Ugin and Jace Beleren. The now-mortal, planebound dragon is kept imprisoned on Ugin's Prison Realm, formerly known as Bolas's Meditation Realm.

He had styled himself "the mind-ripper, the deathbringer, the winged dark that terrifies your dreams, the first to witness the sunrise on Dominaria, and the last to watch it set for the final time". On Ixalan he adopted the pseudonym Lord Nicolas, and on Ravnica that of Master Venati.

3. Akatosh (from Skyrim)

Akatosh, the Dragon God of Time, is the chief deity of the Divines, the official religion of the human empires throughout much of Tamriel's history. He represents the qualities of endurance, invincibility, and everlasting legitimacy. Along with Lorkhan and Mara, he is one of three deities found in almost every Tamrielic religion, with only the Dunmer, Orsimer, Argonian, and Kothringi not having a dragon god of time in their pantheons. He is generally considered to be the first of the gods to form in the Beginning Place. After his establishment, other spirits followed his example, and the various pantheons of the world emerged. Before the Ages of Man suggests that he and Auri-El are the same being, but further confirms that after his formation, time began. Akatosh is considered the god-defender of the Empire.

4. Io (from Dungeons and Dragons)

In many campaign settings for the Dungeons & Dragons roleplaying game, Io is the chief deity worshipped by dragons, god of dragonkind, balance, and peace. He is seen by his people as the creator of all things. He is neutral in alignment, but he also contains within him all other alignments. His symbol is a multi-colored metallic disk.

5. Deathwing ( from world of warcraft)

Deathwing the Destroyer,[6] formerly known as Neltharion the Earth-Warder (pronounced "nehl-THAIR-ree-uhn"), was one of the five Dragon Aspects and leader of the black dragonflight. Ages ago, Neltharion was empowered by the Pantheon with dominion over the earth and the deep places of Azeroth. However, driven mad by the Old Gods, he turned against the other Aspects during the War of the Ancients, eventually abandoning his title of Aspect of Earth in favor of being the Aspect of Death. Becoming one of the greatest terrors of the known world, his name too became one whispered with a feeling of fear and contempt among both mortals and dragons. He was perhaps the most powerful servant of the Old Gods.

The black Aspect involved himself in the Second War, adopting the form of the human Lord Daval Prestor in order to destroy the Alliance from within. As a human, Prestor was said to be tall, with a slim figure, black hair and clean-shaven hawklike features that were the subject of gossip among the ladies of King Terenas' court. He also had a quick mind and a friendly, engaging manner that endeared him to all involved in the Alterac crisis. It was said that he even got a smile out of Genn Greymane, the normally dour king of Gilneas.

Deathwing also managed to turn his greatest enemy, Alexstrasza, into a slave of the Horde, with which he later allied himself. After a series of setbacks culminating in his defeat at the hands of the other Aspects, Deathwing retreated to Deepholm in the Elemental Plane to recuperate. From the depths of the earth, deeper beneath Grim Batol, he observed his former mate Sintharia's experiments with the twilight dragonflight and later continued his late consort's work.

Though believed dead by many, Deathwing returned in spectacular fashion after the fall of the Lich King. Entering Azeroth through Deepholm fractured the World Pillar, causing the Elemental Plane to start collapsing onto Azeroth. This Cataclysm reshaped the entire world of Azeroth and unleashed widespread destruction. As the world reeled, he appeared and brought flame to various regions of Azeroth. His ultimate goal was to bring about the Hour of Twilight - the liberation of the Old Gods and the end of all life on the planet. Deathwing was aided by powerful allies also minions of his masters, such as the warped ogre-mage Cho'gall and his Twilight's Hammer cult, the powerful Elemental Lords Al'Akir and Ragnaros, and the Neferset tol'vir of Uldum.

Uniting their powers, the remaining Dragon Aspects sent adventurers to brave the unstable paths of the Caverns of Time to retrieve the Dragon Soul, an ancient artifact crafted by Deathwing himself 10,000 years earlier and destroyed shortly after the Second War, for it was believed to be the only means of defeating him. With the weapon secured, the Aspects took the battle to their corrupted brother, with the orc shaman Thrall as the wielder of the Dragon Soul, now imbued with Deathwing's essence - the very essence of the earth itself.[citation needed]  After the siege of Wyrmrest Temple and unleashing his most powerful minions, Deathwing took to the skies until he was blasted with the Dragon Soul into the Maelstrom. His body at last giving way to the corruption within, Deathwing made his final stand in the raging torrent of the Maelstrom, where he was at last destroyed by the combined powers of the Aspects and the Dragon Soul.

6. Ancalagon (from Lord of the Rings)

After Eärendil made his journey to Valinor to convince the Valar to overthrow Morgoth and rescue the overmatched and defeated Elves and Edain, the Host of Valinor made war upon Morgoth and destroyed his armies.

Facing final defeat, Morgoth unleashed his last and greatest weapon; a fleet of winged fire drakes, led by Ancalagon. So terrible was their onslaught that the armies of the Valar were driven back from the gates of Angband, and their coming was said to have been accompanied by great thunder, lightning, and a tempest of fire. But Eärendil came out of the West in his blessed ship Vingilot, accompanied by "a myriad" of the Eagles of Manwë led by Thorondor. The Eagles and Eärendil dueled with Ancalagon and the other dragons for a day. Eventually, Eärendil was victorious, casting Ancalagon down upon Thangorodrim, destroying the volcanic mountains in his fall. The death of Ancalagon marked the end of Morgoth's final resistance.

7. Smaug (from Lord of the Rings)

Smaug was a fire-drake of the Third Age, considered to be the last "great" dragon of Middle-earth. He was drawn to the enormous wealth amassed by the Dwarves of the Lonely Mountain during King Thrór's reign. He laid waste to the nearby city of Dale and captured the Lonely Mountain, driving the surviving Dwarves into exile.

For 171 years, Smaug hoarded the Lonely Mountain's treasures to himself, staying within the mountain, until a company of Dwarves managed to enter the Lonely Mountain and awaken him from hibernation. Correctly believing that the Dwarves had received assistance from the men of Lake-town in entering the Lonely Mountain, Smaug left the mountain to wreak destruction upon Lake-town, nearly destroying it before being slain by Bard the Bowman.

I'm not sure he could use the Ur-dragon or Deathwing as a toothpick.

Ancalagon is only about 150 feet longer than Deathwing, while the MTG wiki doesn't say how big the Ur-dragon is.

No, that's Ur-drago, not Ur-dragon, the website clearly says "not to be confused with Ur-drago", here's Ur-dragon's real card:

Due to how MTG scaling works in practice, Ur-Dragon can be killed by ten random peasants (if they could fly) or about 10 Storm Crows (he can only kill half of the crows)

However, in theory and in art a 10/10 is immense and easily scales like Ancalagon.

Anyways, a Heroes of Might and Magic III Azure dragon can kill like 1000 gremlins or more I think, so their feats are comparable to anything

Also toe to toe with Heroes IV Megadragon (stats are almost the same, but is better against armies and has magic resistance; but can't fly. Anyways H4 stats are worth more comparatively, since H3 max level creatures got their HP dashed.)

So, in raw power, my bet goes for the Mega Dragons:
https://mightandmagic.fandom.com/wiki/Megadragon_(H4)
https://mightandmagic.fandom.com/wiki/Mega_dragon_(MM7) ( I think 16d8 damage and 1300 HP is stronger than any normal D&D dragon. D&D Ancient Red Dragon is less than 550 HP https://www.dndbeyond.com/monsters/16782-ancient-red-dragon)
This one seems basically indestructible but I don't know the role in the game: https://mightandmagic.fandom.com/wiki/Mega_dragon_(MM5) https://mightandmagic.fandom.com/wiki/Mega_dragon_(MM2)

And Nicol Bolas is the strongest being in the MTG! But I made Alara (HotA) map, description says "Alara's five artifacts are one again, igniting new magics and mayhem. It's all as Nicol Bolas planned. But can he be stopped before this plane is destroyed? You defeat the dragon in 5 months." One voted like, and in about 2,6k downloaded..

with that logic, The King's Bounty dragon (the very first game) is the most overpowered. it can defeat infinite peasants. (for some reason, peasants couldn't damage it, no matter their number).
