YouTube and the radio mostly.
I had plenty of cassettes and CD's years ago as a child and teenager, most of the cassettes passed down to me from my grandpa who was a real music lover in the days with no internet.

For the last 5 years or so, mostly from the internet. Apple Music, Youtube etc., with quality headphones. I also transferred my cd archive to digital.

I almost always use YouTube for music.
I think they want to much to charge for ad free unless they are contributing to the content developers more than I realize.
I plan to get a couple of devices like an mp3 player and maybe a flash drive with a few hundred songs
@Salamander. I never took your blue hoodie serious until just now.

Streaming for sure. No brainer. Seems like the only way nowadays.
With some of the aforementioned medias you provided, I convert those into MP3's, and upload the results here:

Yes, I have multiple identities, but only online.
At Internet Archives I'm known as Basinboy. The albums you'll see there are not what I consider my personal collection, but I collect music, so a lot of the stuff I've put up there are considered rare. Therefore, I would have to check most of your boxes for the answer(s).
...and oh, sorry for the less than shameful plug to the music site? Not my intent really. But all the music there is free for the taking. Download or stream if you like, or not.
