this is the 2nd unjust penalty I witnessed. Paraguay vs S. Africa 2-2... It should have been 2-1

You would have deserved at least a draw.
It was this time the referee that decided the match. It was place for freekick, not penaltykick.
And also it seems that referee was too blind to see how early brazilians went for the ball at least twice in turkish freekicks.
I think this competition has been really different than I expected. Of course many teams have started carefully but somehow many teams have been uninspired just like Brazil.
There will be more surprises later on if these games continue as they have begun.

Just finished today updating, there are some folks with 8 points now. I think matthy was only one that got all games correct today, nice job.
As for Brazil - Turkey game i agree with the fact that there was no penalty to be given since he faul happend just before the box. I would be suprised if Turkey wouldnt make 2nd round tho concidering their "easy" group.

Mistake? WTF are you talking about? Alpay almost tears the shirt off of Duzjielman or whatever that Brazilian's name was, back, as the last man. Red card and penalty is correct. Besides, Brazil was so much better, they really deserved the win.
And Sir_Stiven, I know this is too late, so I won't complain if you won't count them in, but my champions and top scorer are:

why?
One rule i never "get" is why if its the last man and he brings someone down in the box hes sent off. I mean surely the whole point of a penalty is exactly that to penalise the team for the foul. I find the rules extremley silly.
Why if your the last man would you ever even bother going for the player to bring him down at all, you might as well just get in his way a bit and let him take a shot. Surely even if they score, not only is it a bit more tricky to score with the defender in the way but you dont lose a player. I mean its completely pointless the way it is to bring him down you lose much more that way. The last man rule should go

to make it a penety 2 meters from the spot thats a mistake the firsr red card was ok the other red card well that should have gone to Rivaldo for film what a loser got hit on his lakes and fall filming it to look like he got hit in the head phhhh what a loser !!! 2 mistakes

Well, good play, Turkey except those silly fouls at later stage of match.
Brazil is better though the referee may help them. One thing makes me worry is their defenders. It seems to me that Brazil has the WEAKEST (in terms of defense but not offense) defensive lines among those strong teams. And they seems not efficient, with good personal skills, they like to possess the ball and "playing with the ball" even in their half of court. That's very dangerous. Hope they keep this GOOD habit till they meet China.

Sorry DonGio but those guesses wont be in the competition, i wouldnt bother to much over it anyway. To me the true winner is the guy/girl that gets most points from guessing games. I just added the topscorer/champs to spice things up.

Thats the thing Germany cant sit back in the Cameroon game they have to win..........all going well we should beat the Saudis and Germany shoul draw or beat Cameroon.... We should Qualify to play Spain.

Just finished todays updating, as far as i reckon no one expected that USA win (me included). And that last gasp strike from Robbie Keane also stole a point away from me. Some ppl had 2 points from todays matches and this just makes the competition even closer. As it is now i think there are 3ppl with 10 points (Me included ) and many with 8 or 9.
