Should there be a new 7th level creature for Stronghold. I know this place has great defense but I really dont think Ancient Behemoth are that good. I think there slow. Beisides there cheap cost the only thing good about them is that they can give out alot of damage. Even though Ancient Behemoths speed is 9 why does it seem so slow and takes up so much space. Another thing is that you really cant leave them out in the open like that because there easy to loose.
Orcs also are bad 3th level shooters. Its easily effected by blessings and curses. There also slow its a good thing that cyclops take there place. These are just two of my ideas that need to be changed in stronghold any ideas for a 7th level creature and a 3th level shooter for Stronghold

hmm is this not an idea for heroes 4? Oh well! Remember theres going to be two lvl 7 creatures so behemoths stay.

Ancient Behemoths are awesome and don't forget the Behemoth Crack is easily built in week 1 under normal circumstances.
Orc Chieftains are pretty decent for their cost and dwelling's cost.

There are going to be two 7th level creatures. Do you have any idea what the other one will be? Well Orcs dont really work well for me as shooters. Cyclops is great when you have expert ballistics then you can help capture towns by knocking them down. Do you have any ideas or request for a new 7th level for Stronghold

I agree with that grandelves are nice archers to work your army around what about the 1st level creature

I dunno why you are saying that Bahemoths take a lot of damage, but even if they take they compensate in Hp's, they have 300. Also their speciality is not defence, but to do damage. Try to combine Craig Hack and Ancient Behemoths, and see what happens. Behemoths are one of the best 7th level creatures despite their speed. It would be boring if all 7th level creatures are fast and flying. This is a strategy game, this means: To use efficiently the specialities of the town and creatures and force the opponent on the weak side.
Behemoths are going to be in heroes4, havent you seen the pic. blackdragon. These creatures are first revealed cuz they are legendary creatures.
Ohhh, and by the way, my favorite first level creature is centaur or skeleton.

I don't think anyone has any idea about the creature rooster yet. And I think we will only have up to level 6 creatures with 2 to choose from level 2-6.

Sprites. They're plentiful, fast and can do awesome damage. Blessed Sprites will be able to kill other level 1 creature stack outright! :-)

The other day I really triede to play with skeletons to see If they where that good of a creature despite my thoughts If you wait a while you can really build your defense around skeletons. So I have added Skeletons and pikeman as my favorite level 1 creatures. Also I really need some tips for using stronholds 1st to 3rd level creatures because they just dont seem to work well for me

Sprites? U have got to be kiding me!
Sprites are extremely weak. The only good thing about them is their speed.
The best level 1 creature is a Habladier or a Centaur Captain. Centaur Captain is a bit weaker, but the speed is good.
Best level 3 are Elves.

Sprites have excellent Speed and numbers! You get sprites close to twice as many as Halbediers/Centaur Captain. And with their no-retaliation, Sprites are just awesome!

best lvl 3 is a blessed ice elemental , but actually a blessed storm elemental is the best lvl3 shooter (yet it's lvl 2!), or maybe a sharpshooter but it's lvl 4-5 I think.

IMO, 1 ~ 3 levels of stronghold are quite good.
Goblin/Hog: cannon folder, they are abundant, weak and cheap so you don't mind to lose them. Best used for taking Dragon Utopia. Using Ancient or just behemoth with several goblin/hogs. Those dragons are coward (no offense  ) and would be afraid of the retarliation of AB/B.
Wolfraider: best low level damage dealer. Wolfrider is waste of money. Woldraider is cool but both human player and AI would try to take them out soon. (So they may become "unreluctant cannon folder"
Orc/Orc Chieftan: tough shooters.
When using in combination (vs computer), use a single goblin/hog to lure enemy troops to move/att, use another goblin/hog stack to att first and let wolfraider to finish them up! The orc/orcch. are just simply shooters but now they are not the favorite target of AI and so they can shoot for more rounds.
As against human, it denpends on situation and cannot use any fixed tactic. Though generally I choose to use "mass haste + gang att." When using stronghold, you usually suffer casulties, but never mind. Your troops are cheap and you can win the war economically !
Lastly, you really need bless for your l ~ 3 levels of stronghold.

Not really I dont think stonghold is that good of a town besides their defense but I changed my mind on Behemoths they are good If you have a army to back them up with.

Black Dragon, for the last time, The Strongholds specialty is not defense, it is attack. Also, Orcs do good damage for there cost, although they are slow. In response to the best 1st level, it is definatly not sprites. They SUCK! The only redeeming value is there no retaliation, and the only reason they get that is because it is so weak the opponent doesn't know he has been attacked. The best 1st level could be a lot of things. Centaurs because they are fast and have the most hit points, pikeman because they do excellent damage, familiars because they drain spell points, and skeletons, because you can afford to lose them, usually you end up with more than you lose.
Playing on normal (I usually don't) you can get behemoths on day 3!!!!

Also, remember that behemoths lower defense, ancients lower it by 80%!!! This is better than any disrupting ray!!!

I totally agree with DVZ about sprites. Their speed and no retaliation and large numbers of them-it is just too good for others. Hey DVZ what about pixies-semi naked sprites.

Stronghold is AWESOME especially when you have Mass Haste.
You can move usually all your units in a row before the opponent have change to do anything. Ancient Behemoths are really great and will deal awesome damage against every creature. Wolf Raiders too will be most efficient if the target of their attack can`t retaliate (unfortunately they are easily dismissed due to their low health, but that is what player should avoid).
And for Behemoths they can take against almost anything when attacking.
By the way, Terek is the BEST hero for stronghold (and one of the best heroes in the game). Battle mages are far better choise for a hero than a barbarian.

Stronghold is good but it doesnt seem as that good of a town to me to play such as Castle and Rampart. This town 7th level is good but slow on the battlefeild. I think wolf raiders can do good damage but can be deystroyed easily
