facts are that me, Andi and motors are very very unlikely to get a QP since we aint afraid to mention what we think is wrong. And i think i have proven my point at several threads now that sometimes it doesnt matter much what the the post itself includes, alot is depending on the author of it aswell.
To me a really good example of a "you need to get on our good side to get accepted" poster is Celfious. He had posted about what? 500 posts or something before he decided to join the buttkisser club. These 500 posts were himself thinking and posting. After those he must have gotten a change of heart because suddenly he started to make an effort how to improve this place which is good (then the fact that he still is a tosser who makes tosser posts doesnt make things better is another issue) but he didnt just do that, he changed his HC personality completely. If this was about music industry i guess the words "sell out" are the ones that first comes to mind. And suddenly he had gotten 2 QP:s in no time...
Kinda makes you think doesnt it?
To bad andi hasnt gotten a penalty lately, because then i could have shown you what he had to do to recieve one and what DonGio can do and still get away with it. And why shouldnt he right? because as far as i can tell he is on the "accepted" side too. Dont get me wrong, even these people can get penalties, i saw that Elric has gotten one for example but it is what one has to do to get one of those penalties that suprises me...
Sure we live in an unfair world so why should this place be any different right? Im not saying things has to be equal around here but alittle closer gap between some people would be nice. After all, isnt that what for example "keeper of balance" means?
EDIT: me maybe sounded alittle to harsh on some posters there, i didnt mean that everyone is posting to get accepted around here. I know some people that makes good posts and gets stick for em and still continues to make em for example. But the case "Celfious" was a really obvious one, there are others aswell.
EDIT #2 lol: Just saw that DonGio will recieve a penalty for that post after all and id say thats great news. But why is it that it always seems that Hexa has to make these decisions? Some people jump on the chance to give certain members -QP:s and then dont even bother to check up with people involved when they are really complaining about something. And even if this dongo -QP is good news there are unfortunately still many similiar cases in my opinion.
@Hexa: just thought id mentioned that its good that you take the time to deal with things like this now. Good job man. It seems like some of my library critism brought some good stuff after all

You're right, some people are liked less than others around here. That's normal, that's life unfortunately. You can't deny the fact that andi kills noobs and some of his posts did deserve -QPs.
Celfious HAS changed, I actually like the new C better, haven't known the old one that long of course.
Some people play a role here, that's unavoidable and I can see why it ****** you off as they get QP and you being honest do get them less regularly maybe.
Myself, I'm just trying to be me. If people don't like me, then that's their problem. If guys call me crazy, I don't care, perhaps I am strange to them. My friends IRL accept me for who I am, that's what matters to me. Besides, like you I don't want to fake being mister goody goody all the time, I flame people too on rare occasions, but I always try to keep it not too offensive. If I see I crossed the line, then I am not afraid to apologize.
DonGio was, indeed, waaay out of line. The post got deleted but I kept wondering why that post didn't get a -QP right away.
I think you should just continue to be yourself but take into account that there are many different kinds of people posting here, and some of them are not good at dealing with flaming and could get instantly angry. You will get +QP for sure, maybe you should create new topics more regularly, perhaps that would help. For instance your football post could have deserved a QP, who knows? That was a great idea. Don't blame the mods, they're human. And humans tend to have all sorts of interests and distinct senses of humour. That's why to me (and to you so it seems) some posts get QP where I think they're not THAT funny or good. Where other great posts that I like don't. Maybe the place where you post is also important. Posting jokes on the TOH board is less appreciated than in the tavern for example. And post in the tavern might easily be overlooked as they move down the board quickly. Anyway, this is completely off topic here so I'd better shut up now.

All this talk and still you seem to have miss my point completely, this isnt about Andi getting penalties or about me getting QP:s. This is about that the same justice should apply to all ppl here. And even i understand that you cant be completely objective, but some stuff around here is just ridicioulus.
If mods think andi should get a -QP for tossing a n00b or miscensor his words then so be it. But then they should be that consistant against all people and not look other way and then when people like myself starts arguing about it say that they didnt see it and want things like that shown to them.
And about people changing like that, lol no way man. Seems to me you have watched to much soap opera on TV 
I do believe that people can change but that doesnt include a total change of personality over a night lol...
Oh and if you refer me wanting QP:s after my signature/custom status then you should look into my other posts...tossing/sarcasm is things i use frequently in case you missed that...i thought u had it figured out after looking in library tho, you seem clever enough for that

Aaaaack! I seem to have made an incomplete post, or at least some points need clarification.
1. Tossing is okay, it's fun to laugh with silly or completely boring posts. Tossing or occasional flaming of noobs is all right too.
2. Attacking or insulting someones person while tossing/flaming is not okay! Example: I don't mind people making fun of things I post or even beating the crap out of my ideas. I wouldn't like people throwing insults at me and telling ALL my posts are of ridicilous quality or stuff like that. This is why people get away with borderline tosses/flame posts, while others get penalized for minor insults. When Andi insults people he gets -QP, if he just tosses and jokes on threads, he does not.
3. My point is though strong tosses may seem more severe than a minor insult, they are not. A toss criticizes a post, an insult hurts the person directly. I think that's just and fair, and as I said above, mods are humans, they all have different views and have their good and bad days too.
As for people changing. People can change dramatically over one night... Bad (and I mean really bad) things happening can change a person's personality in days, maybe hours. I've been through a dark period like that, and hell, it changed me very much. Perhaps Celfious has had troubles of his own, who knows? We don't come to the HC to talk about our problems, but it's quite obvious that changes in ones life will reflect on their posts here somehow. I just wanted to say that it's dangerous to insult people. They could be in a heavy situation and by insulting them you're certainly not helping. Some people creating so called 'brainless' threads may come here to get their thoughts off their misery for a couple of minutes, giving them a little bit of credit is the least we can do.
The stars themselves are just, well stars really. But everyone likes to get a compliment on something they make/write, no? If not from those stars, then a positive reply or IM. I may be clever, I also am impressively naive. Hey, great! I can insult myself as much as I want without being penalized. I'm not gonna psycho-analyse you. Oh wait, as a matter of fact I will, lol. You're talking about QP so much, you must have a hidden desire for QP of some kind, hehe. (just kidding man, just kidding)

Just some opinions...
Sure, there are things that can change your personallity dramatically but not like this. You are who you are always, sure there are things that can make people change very fast like when they think they have seen Jesus and will become a better man or when they have had a close to death experience or something like that. But even then you dont change like this, you are changing gradually all the time. You dont go from personallity A to B in a nights time. And as for Celfious i hardly think this is the case at all anyway, once again i used some sarcasms to trying to point that out but some people obviously take every word i say really seriously...
And to repeat something from TOH board, if you have personal issues why go to a place where you know that there are alot of tossing/joking/un serious replies anyway? In the TOH case it was about someone coming to zone in a bad mood and obviously things got bad. My point is, if you are feeling sad or just generally unhappy dont go to a public place where you can get tosses/flamed/insulted/something to make you feel even worse. If you have gotten some really bad news the first thing you do aint going to a supermarket is it? No its problably talking to some of your closest friends/family. Same thing here, dont go to a public place, and if you are thinking of going online anyway which i can understand in some cases then use ICQ/yahoo/MSN/whatever to talk to the people you wanna talk with.
As for regular tossing, there are people just asking for getting tossed and you know it just aswell as i do. And if someone is in a tossing mood then they might go ahead and toss it. And some tossing might be alittle harsh but as i said earlier thats not where my problem lies, my problem is that other people can do worser things and get away with it.
And it seems that i have really misjudged your intelligence indeed. I mean you caught me right away, how the hell did you figure out that gaining QP:s are the only thing im thinking about while posting? lol
Nah seriously it doesnt bother me at all if i gain/lose some QP:s as long as they are correctly given/removed. I know posters here that really should have more QP:s than they got and then off course the other way around, some people have alittle more than they maybe should have...

If you are planning on being a better person here then go on and try, but then act that way all the time too. Not trying to be some show off when certain people are looking and when they are not u keep going with your BS.

You have no right to come here all of a sudden and start bashing Hexa..I mean ..what do you want to accomplish here? Or are u just frustrated in RL you feel you have to search for a scapegoat? Well I would be really happy if you all would stop this *let's all bash Hexa* stuff..
And stiven wrote something good for a change..Why are we all depending so much on Hexa?
He isn't the only mod around here but it seems that whenever there is trouble he gets blamed and I don't think that's fair..
You should try and see things from the mod side..and I tell you ..it aint pretty

About the thingie that we should all be treated equal..that just doesn't work
We have ver different charackters here and if you want to play fair you would have to lok at each member individually.

As i see it, andi has had plenty of chances to stop the bashing. A toos once in a while is ok, but what he's doing is way beyond that...he has been warned several times that he would get penalties if he continues...it was his choice!
