well, I thought this would be no problem in h4. Just password protect your saves if you don't trust opponent.
After game is finished, both players give their passwords, so that mapediting etc.can be detected.

We encountered a more dirty form of map editing : instead of putting new majors or new arties on the map the opponent replace the existing random majors with some specific majors (very useful for his castle). So this form of map editing is more difficult to detect and almost impossible to prove it (the opponent will tell u that he is very lucky). And I don't want start a witch hunt but I think it's very unusual on a map with only 2 majors for your opponent to find the perfect tome for his castle (the castles and the sides was choosed before the starting of the game ) especially when he hosted the game . But once again, very hard to prove it. And once again this could be only pure luck.

hehe, AzureDragonTM, this form of cheating has been present in H3 too. And - believe it or not - it can be detected. Just write a short message to your local Honor Council

Hard to prove in one game........however, if it is a pattern then booting considered, etc. Save your saves please.
