It's easy Athimus...split the zombies in 7 stacks to increase chance of disease, then surround hydra and voila...hydra is no more...

forget about zombies just use a cyclopes to hurl a rock at the hydras head
end of battle and the zombies can sit on the sideline

I am not just talking about Zombies vs Hydras, but everything about Zombies. Sir_Stiven is saying that Zombies doesnt suck, that they are "da bomb", so I am just asking some hints about the value of the zombie in another battles.

HOW TO USE ZOMBIES PROPERLY
I'm going to give you several lessons of how to use da bombs (read: "Zombies") so that you will win every game.
1. Da Bombs' real strength lies in their speed. They are so very slow that they will greatly slow down your hero. So it'll be easy for the enemy's main hero to reach you and engage in battle. But you have LEGIONS of COOL DA-BOMBS and they'll kick the enemy's ass!
2. Also dabombs are very valuable for they can cast disease spell. This spell RULEZ! So send your zombies to the heat of battle, dont leave them to protect your weak shooters!
3. And of course zombies are undead so you need to learn Leadership to increase their morale!!! Then they will always get extra moves and SMASH EVERYTHING ON THEIR WAY!
And if all your creatures are undead then it's even better because they'll get +1 bonus to morale! 
4. Now you know how great dabombs are. Remember: if your dabombs are in danger then do everything to save them! Cast a Fire Wall in front of them so that the enemies could not reach them. Protect them with forcefields, sacrifice your best troops, you can even send liches to melee to work as an obstacle and stop enemies that are goin to reach your dabombs! DA-BOMBS RULE!!!

Sir_Stiven, you didn't understand me. I know that zombs cannot have morale for they are undead. This whole post was just a joke, and that point 3 also... I just wanted to show how really bad and unbombish (such a good word! ) those bombs are!
