what goes through a newbies mind
i see you guys get newbies alot and no one ever understands them because the newbies are too shy and whne they arent newbies anymore they forget what it is like and they want to make a good impression here is some of the thoughts i was thinking when i first came to HC
Do i smell like cabbage?
a first impression is always great so it is important to smell great too cabbage leaves a negative feedback so you dont wanna go smelling like cabbage
what should i make my enterance be?
most people go for the "im new" or "big newbie here" posts but people like me like to go a bit more exotic like "i wish i were an oscar myers weiner" it didnt get any feedback whatsoever but it was a tad bit interesting title
will they like me?
if you post too many stupid posts they will tend to flame and attack you but that could happen to anyone anywhere anytime
i hope my *** doesnt look big
if you have a big *** then people will laugh at you that is a scientific proven fact
(Disclaimer: if you do not like this thread tell me and i will delete it or one of the mods can do it for me)

Well, as far as I remember (it was a long time ago  ) I entered the community through Age of Heroes (see the link above). I didn't create anything like "i'm a newbie" topic, just written my question (where can I find full HMM storyline). I didn't get responses with direct links though. But after that I started posting because I found out that Heroes fans do have a lot of things to tell each other
P.S. Finally I managed to find the complete HMM storyline in 15-page HTML document. Located at www.demilich.250x.com if you're interested, but it's all in Russian.
(Answering to the Disclaimer: no, it's a very good thread i think the discussion here will result in some new regular topic like "For absolute newbies" or something like that.

Ive been a noob on so many forums I don't even think about what I'm thinking when i post my first thread....anymore.
Did that make any sense?
Man, the smileys and BB code on this forum are a little harder to deal with than most forums ive seen. I'm used to just double clicking the icon and have it go right into my post.
Don't know if I can handle it...
