well I just started taking an AP course on Java, so maybe I'll know by the end of the year what a possible problem would be.

Edit: Is there anyway I could look at the classes you are using for the edit post links?

I'm pretty sure that it will work if you tell the program that 3 star members that have no flood protection for everything, and then referring to a different method that they cannot submit posts, but can still edit posts when trying to submit/edit a new post.

This will let 3 star member open the window to submit a post, but not be able to submit it for another 90 seconds. But they will be able to edit whenever they want.

Another option would be to create separate timers for both editing and posting. For those members with extended timers like 2 hours, do we want to make them wait 4 hours to edit their post or 90 seconds or 5 minutes? I think they should at least be able to edit their post without having to wait 30 minutes, because they won't remember to at a later time.

I'm trying to add up which things are promised to be included but not fixed yet.

* Stickies.
Are still buggy. The stickies appears on top of normal page where topic would be displayed, instead of on top of FIRST page.

* 3 Red stars, no floodprotect when editing.
Still bugged and does not work. Some members have reported that second edit and thereafter are free (for non-three star members). Which is also a bug.

* Memberlist remake.
I'd say there is no known issues about this one. Anyone found anything not working as it should?

* Nonactive member pruning.
This tool is delivered and working. There are still a whole lot of members registering and never posts anything.

* Bugs
The bugs are not fixed. This issue remain.

* User profiles
I'd say there is no known issues about this one. Anyone found anything not working as it should?

Other items not included in the donation.

* Sorting on Thread ratings.
This works as it should now. Please report any bugs you may find. Prior to the change using this sort mechanism was useless.

* Avatar improvement
This was promised after the script changes. Has not been started yet.

I have another idea. Non-mods should be able to give QP's. Not to themselves, of course, but to other members. Only heroes with 0 QP or above should be able to do it. They could not be able to take QP's away from others.

I'd like to change that thought. Only 3+ star members can do this.

If you are going to do this then it should take many non-mods to award QP's.

The person must get 10 votes. A person with 3 stars gets 1 vote. A person with 4 stars gets 3 votes. A person with 5 stars gets 5 votes. And a person with 6 stars gets 15 votes.

However, you can also vote that a post is bad. This will not warrant a penalty, but it will prevent other users from voting that a post is good.

So if The_Hydra thinks a post is good, but I say that it's bad, then the post gets +12 support.

Mods have the power to give penalties to users who ally with each other to give each other QP's. This is abuse of power.

Bug Report

Bug:  Deleting the first post of a thread will delete the entire thread.  However, the warning to that effect does not show up when one is editing the first post.  It does show up when one is editing the last post of a thread.  Go figure.

Possible bug: If a member hits the threshold for a new yellow star, but subsequently deletes posts, the yellow stars may not change to reflect the lowered postcount.  Edit:  Never mind.  It just takes a while to kick in.

Edit:  (re: Djive's comment below, bugs already reported) Oops, guess that's what I get for rush posting on a thread I haven't read completely.  Sorry.

One bug that I don't see reported (at least in this thread) -- the new colors in the MaH and roleplaying forums are funky.  They only show up in the forum indexes and in any page you go to directly from the forum indexes.  If you go to the page from the main index or the previous page of the thread, the scheme reverts back to normal.  While a blessing to those of us who dislike the new colors, this tendency disrupts the special atmosphere of the sub-forums.  It's particularly jarring when going from page X to page Y of the same thread.

Bug #1 is already reported and has been promised to be fixed. (Look at the bug descruptions earlier in this thread.)

Bug #2. Yellow stars doesn't depend only on your post count. There are also other things, though only the admin knows the details.

I found something too.  I reserved my avatar, and it says so in my profile.  But on the avatar list it doesn't show up as reserved.  What's up with that?

Reserved means that you can't use it. For other people it should appear as reserved.

There was been some problems of the reservation not showing up. Thought those might have been fixed, but it appears not.

Your avatar doesn't show up as reserved by you when I look at the Avatar List either.

You might try to redo the reservation of the Avatar. (Select another Avatar and reserve it and then select back the Avatar you have now and reserve it.)

I would like to thank Valeriy for improving the latest replies at the index. The last 5 posts seems to go by quickly these days and having up to four pages of posts is a significant improvement.

Thanks to anyone involved in this.

Major IM Bugfix + Improvement

Sometimes an IM would appear and go blank straight away if you opened two thread/forum pages at once. This has been fixed. A separate blank window will still appear, but the original IM will not go blank.

Up till now, IMs that were not delivered in 5 days were deleted from the database. The IM expiry time has been extended to 14 days.

Glad you like the link next to last 5 replies. Today's posts and who's online pages have been improved to make them more readable.

FAQ update coming up.

When you go into the Profile site of other HC members. It doesn't show the E-mail person option. I know I can just click on posts then go to any post, scan the page to find their name, etc. It's not that I can't do it, but rather I think this could be easily changed.

capitalisation is to important on user names, I deleted my cookies a little while ago and didnt capitalise the d when i re-logged in, now if i want to edit a post i made earlier i need to log out, log in with cap D, then hit edit, then i need to put in a small d where the user name is.

steps i take right now

1. Log out draco
2. Log in Draco
3. hit edit post
4. Change name from Draco to draco
5. Post

Changing the user names to not be case-sensitive would be really helpful.

@Draco:
Why don't you just delete your cookies again and log in with caps?
