What is the worst possible style of music?
Hello everyone!
What do you think is the worst possible style of music? In other words, which kind of music do you think is the most horrible, the most annoying, the most appaling taste of music out there in the musical galaxy?
As for me, I consider grunge and hard core metal/rap to be the most annoying music there ever was (eg. Limp Bizkit, Marylin Manson, Amen, Cannibal Corpse etc).

You havent heard the funk that was in the brazilian radios last year! That was terrible! It is difficult to explain how is was bad to our ears. Here is a sample(a part of the lyric of a famous music, poorly translated from portuguese again - dont worry you wont have any problems with rhymes or something like that because they didnt exist!)
a female voice singing
It hurts
A little slap doesnt hurt

A little slap doesnt hurt
a male voice
Give her a slap!
(and repeats this crap a lot of times!)
There are others much worse than the above one, but I think it is not necessary to mention it!

thats the kind of music you put in if you feel like you wanna smash someones face in, it will never suck 
as for marilyn manson and limp tosskit, true thats REALLY annoying, cant even use it like cannibal corpse.

Hey now Elric, at least with Country, you can actually hear the words of the song, which seems to be an obselete concept in music styles such as Rap, Hard rock, punk/grunge.

Don't know what the absolute worst is. 'N Backstreet Britney Aguilera's Child is pretty bad. There's bad rap (ie - Eminem/P-diddy [is that what he wants to be called now?]) and good rap (KRS One, Jedi Mind Trick). There's bad country (anything on CMT) and good country (Johnny Cash). So on and so forth, you can find good and bad examples of each music genre.
The only ones that have never recorded a bad song are Lou Reed (well, okay, Metal Machine Music, but we don't like to talk about the one) and Nick Drake.

wow! I wouldn't say Marylin Manson annoying music! It's fun!

For me it's r&b...I don't think it's horrible or that it stinks, it's just the most boring music I heard...
...techno's pretty horrible...and it stinks too...

yeah..i don't like techno either..it just doesn't make sense to me..
otherwise i like all music that has some meaning in it or even lyrics..and some classical pieces too..

As for techno, I've often wondered if I could hook my old nintendo up to speakers and get kiddies to pay $25 dollars each to jolt in a vaguely rythmic way as if they were undergoing electroshock therapy.

bort, the dancing you have described actually is a kind of electroshock therapy, cuased by badly trimmed cables on a floor strewn with beer. For best results, mod floor first and saw 1/2 way through nintendo cable with a stanley knife.

Like any kind of music you gotta understand Techno & trance etc just like any other kind of music but like I always say.
You cant like what you dont understand or think you understand  .
I found a new love for Techno & trance I dont like Jungle & I understand thy music .
WESTERN COUNTRY SUUUCKS it is nothing but depressing music & I think most all stay in one group.
Only a few country songs are cool but most is depressing I mean listen to thy words since it is easy to hear it sucks.
