ToH - Homm3?@
Well .. not so long ago we had a “nice little” discussion here in the library about freedom of speech and all. What can be said and what can’t. Where we should draw the line in all off that.
I think that Ves in his anger might have draw that line a bit too soon. I too want to be able to talk about the thing we all loved so much “our HOMM3 online addiction – enbodied in ToH”.
I will not tolerate uncivilized posts in this thread though.,.,. but normal discussion and stuff are welcome.
So anything u want to say .. just say it here then.

Hmm perhaps I wasn't clear on that part ... (well I didn't even discussed that part) ... but ofcourse we owe a debt of graditute to those people that made it possible for ToH to work as it has done in the past seazons!@

there is not much to discuss about.
we are just homm3 players and vesuvius showed us he doesn't want us to visit his homm 4 site anymore.

Rob will not be touching anything heroeswise for the next few weeks and I will take over for now.
I can tell u that this is all very sad, that even now ppl think he has something to gain in his selfless support of the gaming community.

he listens to the community and kept heroes 3 going for so long even when heroes 4 dissappoints but all he gets in return is complaints, fault and blame?

His site...his rules...simple as that..
Mtyhs is still supporting H3 so why don't all the H3 players just head over ther...simple as that.
I have a few thoughts on why Ves closed down this season of h3, most are obvious to anyone that has been around these boards of the zone for any period of time.. But you know it really doesn't matter what we think does it?
It is just a game..we play for fun...
I will just wait until MP H4 to enjoy TOH again, no biggie.
Many of us are not happy with the way Ves went about closing this season, but that's just the way it is...deal with it.
What we all should do is thank him for all his hard work and dedication he has put forth to make TOH what it is and for keeping an old game alive.
His focus is clearly H4 and I can't wait to see what is in store for us! The site is already shaping up very nicely.
Thanks Ves and all the TOH volunteers.

Its a sad day for me
I was really enjoying a last hurrah of HMM3 with many others. I was excited Divisions were opening and was ready to have some good gaming. Other than the normal whining of some about what I considered minor issues. I thought this season was looking good.
Well....guess the many have to suffer for the idiocy of a few. I know there are other HMM3 tourneys, but TOH was it. This could easily be seen by the drop of zone activity during the "off time" toh had recently.
I guess it boils down to the fact that all thing could be improved, but dont whine about the problems, be part of the solution. If this would have happened. we could still be playin in season 5.
guess u dont appreciate sumthing til you have lost it.

Yes Myths supports HMM3
Kitten is sweet and all, But for some reason it feels like bein offered a hamburger when your used to eating steak. (Its good, but not quite what u had expected)
Guess Ill finally have to join now  hehe (dont hurt me to bad for this kitten)
Although I now wonder what myths will be taking over from season 5 toh?
Will the divisions be in myths now?
Do hmm3 warlord shields still exist?

so how many % of the toh players complain nonstop and how many just enjoyed plaiyng ?
complainin will be allways there. if ves doesnt want complaints he shouldnt even try to run homm4 TOH ...as a webmaster u have to accept there are allways guys who critisize (some do it in a good way- some just toss)
and the fact that we arent even allowed to discusss about toh shutdown of toh message board is just a shame..and i really doubt things like that will help toh homm4 to become a success..
i played like 80+ games for toh this season and not hard to guess thatim pissed as hell that all was just a time waste for nothin... maybe that was planed a while ago i dont know but i bet im not the only player who feels like been slapped in the face.
not only ves should be respected by player - ves should also respect em. and kicking 3000 guys in the butt becasue he has a personal issue with a handfull of em is not what i call respect

Maybe its possible to convert the TOH records to Myth for all players that want to continue there. It should be pretty easy since Myth has fixed number of points for win/loss. That way most of the current TOH players can continue there without feeling the frustration of spending many hours in vain.

I said this before, but it got erased faster than season V did
Everybody knows that Ves and the volunteers but a TON of time into toh and it upkeeping. I guess my questions are the same as everybody else's.
1) Will Divisions move over to Myths and continue?
2) Will Myths get the automation seeming how it is now part of TOH?
3) Will Myths get any support from TOH or is just the place that we are getting dumped? (no disrespect kitten, i myself like myths alot, just wondering if we as TOHers got dumped on you)
4) Will Myths players get a free pass toe the simyar site?

I agree. For people like Motor (80 games played), Frank (70 games played), Zud (50 games played), Tew (40 games played), and many others that I don't know about, this is a real let down from a tourney that was trusted. I don't know what vets Ves is talking about, but for the other 95% percent of us that supported TOH this really is a kick in the teeth.

Well what happened was NOT AT ALL very honorable, kinda dropped on us without a report, don't you think?

After i get really mad for an incident in ToT finals , i was really surprised to see the finals canceled..
maybe it was the best choice....it was really a failure with that many forfeits ..

First of all I realize what I am about to say prolly will get plenty of flames, but thats what everyone likes to do at message board is FLAME so here goes.
VES OWES US NOTHING!!!! You people that are still complaining are the reason TOH was closed to begin with. Did all you people buy stock in TOH and I missed it? Did all you people bother to DONATED 10$ to TOH out of apprication??? NO! Ves put up thousands of $$$ and 1000's of man hours of his own free will for all you ungrateful players. I am not a wealthy person so since I couldnt really afford to donate alot of money to TOH I decided to donate my time to vounteer to make TOH a better place. ALL of you people that are complaining donated NOTHING!!!!!! You LET someone hand you over a Tournament that you enjoy for 4 seasons...and all you have to offer is a bunch of complaining trashing posts on the public message board on how it isnt good enough...???????
Well I say HURRAY for Ves and good man for closing TOH. I wouldnt have put up with 1/4 of the B*llSh*T that he has endured over the years from all the ungreatful players.
I do have to agree with ZUD that it is a shame that the rest of us players that DID apprciate Ves have to suffer... maybe woulda been better to just so a MASS booting of all ungreatful players...
Hopefully when Heroes4 rolls around and if any of you players join that.... I pray you have opened your eyes and appricate the FREE tournament and fun, and quit complaining. If you got any suggestions or complaints you want to voice , I would suggest doing so in a private respectful manner.
I have ALOT of friends in TOH and I am not singling anyone person out with my post. If you are one of the ungreatful ones then you know who you are.

you cant only always want feedback mel if you treat "your people" like a dictator...maybe turn the question around, why isnt ves nicer to the players in toh?
and btw, who believes that it only costs him is a fool...this is such a great thing ves has going in his life, he doesnt always need to cry for feedback...it feels good to be a important man that did such a great job and being the owner of toh, dont tell me stories.
also he could easy get money outta something like toh, toh is a great commercial for him...

some said : "its his site - he can do with it what he wants". this is true but in my opinion only half of the story: HOMM players needed TOH it was a great league but also the league itself needed the players... immagine ves had his toh site an noone ever had joined.....it would have disappeard after a few weeks.....
