that's hard.....the only solution so far seem to be aura of fear, anti magic, and snake strik...which requires a lv20 hero.  Or another possibility could be the summoning thing (water or ice), but i'm not sure exactly how that works

1500 computer controlled genies?

com controlled?  that'd be easier! (not tested)

first, a 10 lv hero.  advanced death magic & gm resistance.
same as before, fatigue, poison, and run!  Since that combination will get u a assasin, u can easily out run that genie stak, unless it's in 5 stacks, or genie block u with its illusion..then u r dead.

or, a lv15 hero.  (not sure if works).  with gm order magic, with requires gm enchantment too.  ur hero will have 60 spell point, allow ur to use 5 hypnotizes, which will control genie for 15 turns, let it use illusion on itself, will cost it 45 spell point, so when u finish genie won't have much spell point left.  By when u finish u have about 4000 illusion genies, and enemy have only 1500 genies.  Since neither can cast spell, u are at advantage.  (not sure if that illusion will be urs once hypnotize effect is gone).  And doesn't work if genie is in more than 1 stack.

Hmmm...those are quite creative solutions and I think they really work as well! Still, there is a way to kill those genies with a lower level hero, as long as the computer controls them. Even when the AI is adjusted to champion difficulty

Or a possible way.....lv6, with basic nature, advanced death.  There should have 30 mp come with that.  Summon those sprites, so genies will kill sprites with their icebolt, by the end when their spell points are gone, give them fatigue and poison and run.  (should have enough mp left to do so, but if genies get a morale up u r dead)

That last answer came very close to what I had in mind, tree. I figured you needed an aging attack, because a combat movement of 5 and the flying ability of the genies is still too much for your hero to outrun. My solution, which I have tested and which worked perfectly, is create a level 6 hero with expert death and basic nature magic.
First round you should cast 'summon imp' which not only blocks the line of sight of the genies, but also drains their spellpoints and gives you additional spellpoints. The genies casted mirth and in round 2 I casted mana leech. This spell provided me with even more spellpoints, while the genies had to pay the double prize for their spells. In round three I quickly cancellated the cloned imp stack and after that I casted spells such as poison, fatigue, raise ghost, plague and sorrow. You could even cast speed,  terrain walk, animate some genies and cast mirth, or cast summon sprite and start doing hit and run. It will nevertheless become pretty boring to finish all 1500 genies.

Dragon Utopia

You have to kill 7 Black Dragons.

Minimize the sum: (1/2*Experience+Gold) you use up for it.

Note: you have to kill them in 1 battle (no running home).

Experience: needed to reach the level you use.
Gold: potions cost.

You can also use 1 Veteran's guild and 1 Library as well.

This question is naturally about computer controlled Drakes.

What if You control them?

GM resistance

Which are the spell(s) you can effectively cast on an enemy hero having GM Magic Resistance?

You can't cast any detrimental spells on a GM magic resistance hero. That is because (mass) dispel, (mass) cancellation and (mass) steal enchantment work on the spell and not on the hero himself. The bug that GM magic resistance heroes are vulnerable to the teleport spell is removed with version 1.3, I believe (or else version 2.0).
I'm still thinking about your other question though...

To come back on my own question, I suspect that it is even possible to defeat 1500 genies with a level 4 hero!! That hero needs basic nature magic, advanced death magic and two combat skills. The trick is that the combination of haste on your assassin and fatigue on the genies should be enough to outrun them. I completely forgot about the possibilities of that advanced class specialty, even though both tree and klauts mentioned it! . For the rest, you use the tactics that I described earlier: draining spell points with the imps, cancellating clones and casting poison while running around. Funny thing is that this level 4 hero is able to defeat 1500 genies, but will probably perish against 10 gargoyles . That proves that huge armies aren't always the most effective ones...

Read my question again.

I'll repeat it:

Which spells are you able to effectively cast on an opposing hero with GM resistance.

Regarding the 1500 Genies topic, yes, you are correct. I also thought about it, but I decided not to mention - I thought it wouldn't worth it.

on enemy heroes?  Do u mean 'cast' spells or specialty spells?  Does mana flare work on Gm resistance?  How about those 2 spells that work on blackie?

What are specialty spells?

Yes, you can cast Mana Flare (and it is cast on the opposing hero as well).

So your answer is correct, but still, there is something you forgot to ask.

I heard someone else on the forum say it's bind and stun.  Does that work on Gm resistance..

And for 'specialty' spell, i actually mean those spells by creatures.  Like resurrection of angel, devour of angler fish, bind of mantis, etc.

so they doesn't count.....how 'bout teleport then...it's classified as a 'curse' spell, yet effective on that GM resistance guy.  (it IS a curse spell!  Therefore it is justified to be used on enemy!  It's not a bug)
