TOH board and censorship
well all who visit the TOh board often have maybe recognized that lately some threads and posts got deleted without a warning or without even telling a reason why.
i would like to know what other board visitors think about the deleting which is goin on lately.
in my opinion deleting threads should allways be the LAST option available - and should only be used if the post/thread which got deleted really broke the code of conduct or was totally offtopic. ..and i dont think any of the last deleted posts did fit in of that cathegorys.
in my opinion it cant be good for the future of toh if on this board continues to be a consorship like it has been the last few days.
also MKL's Post in which he asked to delete all homm3 content kinda shocked me.. maye the deleting which is goin on is only the fullfillness of his wish ? ...who knows....
i really would like to read opinions of other board visitors if they dun care about the masses of threads+posts that got deleted without a comment or not ?
will the toh board turn from a free message board where all were able to post their opinions to a completely controlled place where all negative posts or anything that could harm a H4/TOH success will be deleted ?
i ask the admins of this board : Vesuvius, Deth8, ZUd and Melissa X - please stop that controlled mass deleting - u hurt TOH and its future more with doing that ... more than any negative post could ever do.

Deleting
I am currently deleting some very old threads. As asked by Valerity and other moderators. (This is stuff that is either uninformative or out of context on pages 30 and up) just to clean the board up. If I delete new posts It is usually just a very off topic post or one I deem needs moved to another area of the community, and I do that.

well..I kinda agree with Motorschaaf a bit..It was wrong to delete those threads..
I believe in freedom of speech and will only delete when a thread died out forever or when the threads are duplicates or when a problem raised in a thread is solved ..in the last case I prefer closing though
I still don't quite understand as to the reason the threads were deleted but it seems a lot of people didn't like it that much and for a good reason I think.

I cannot even imagine why those threads were censored. They contained 0 negativity 0 complaints. Unbelievable, isn't it? But true.
They were deleted because, they were not liked by only one person which is enough to get them deleted.

Question: If you have a problem with Vesuvius why dont mail him about it instead of making fun of Melissa?
Whats done is done, and i cant imagine that Ves will even concider re opening TOH if all he gets for it is critism and whining.
Instead of slamming Ves have you conciderd taking to him about it motors? Atleast i have always conciderd you more of a fighter than what you are showing here now, try and make the best of the situation now instead of keep trashing the people with high positions in TOH. Dont forget that TOH is problably the reason you still are playing this game.
I think i have a quite good idea what TOH means to heroes3 concidering all you need to do is look back to ToT days and compare the zone activity then and how it became when Season V started.
Even if i was away when TOH closed i think i have talked to enough people to get a good idea of what happend. And yes, the season could have ended alot better but i dont think whining about it will improve anything now. If you wanna get credit from the season motors talk to Ves and try and work it out with him...
As for the deleting of threads i have no idea why that happend so far so i wont comment it for now. But dont take your anger out on Melissa or any other TOH person when you are upset because Ves closed TOH for heroes3. As far as i can understand Melissa is really trying to work out a working heroes3 system and i think she should have all credit for that, especially concidering there are people looking for every little mistake she may make.

Personally i could care less. Has no affect on me at all.
Once you post em you lose ownership of them, simple as that. AH....but therein lies the conundrum...how can we post all our whining and snowin...if we have no control over what is done with the many pearls of wisdom we seem to be spreading around here? EZ you cant

i couldnt disagree more, not everyone wants toh back at all cost after all this...it can go to hell for me, id never play again in it.
and about slamming ves, i cant see any slamming here, maybe you stop kissing butts instead stiven

Where did i say that everyone wants TOH back at every cost now andi?
facts are that i didnt, what i did say is that TOH is problably the reason motors is still playing this game and instead of slamming TOH he could be thankful for the good heroes3 games he has gotten thanks to TOH.
Nor did i say that motors is slamming Ves in this thread, but you know just aswell as me and motor does that this isnt about melissa deleting those threads. This is about Vesuvius closing down season V. Which was my point in first place, instead of critise TOH motors should try and talk this through. Oh and this is the big picture im talking about btw, if some people still doesnt realise that...
And me being a buttkisser? well, it seems nowadays that everytime one agree with someone the "other side" is calling you a buttkisser so i guess i can live with that by now lol...
One question though andi, if me sticking up for Melissa makes me a buttkisser what does that make you if you are standing up for motors?
Conclusion:
Dont take your anger out on Melissa or some other "high" member of TOH when you have a problem with someone else, talk to the person you have a problem with instead.
Respect TOH for all the fun times&games&online friends you (hopefully) have made instead of disrespecting it.
