What's your favorite Class Type?

For me, it's too hard to tell. Especially since I don't know the half of them! In the Elwin and Shaera campaign, I tried desperately to make Elwin a Summonner (Life and Nature Magic), but unfortunately failed and got him to be a Ward (Nature Magic and Tactics). I always like to experiment with Life, Order, and Nature Magic, but either Tactics or Combat always gets tied in their somehow.
IMO, Beastmaster is DEFINATELY the worst out of what I've seen so far- it's Nature Magic + Combat, and gives +10% to the Summon Wolf spell. Whopee. Who casts Summon Wolf anyway?

 P. S., anyone know what Life + Death Magic = ? I always wanted to try it out, but then when I had the chance I changed my mind. Oh well....

Death+Life = Dark Priest (Vampiric touch)
Death+Nature = Demonologist (+50 % to summon demon spells)
Death+Chaos = Lich (Aging (same as ghosts))
Death+Order = Shadow Mage (Blur)
Death+Combat = Assasain (Haste/Speed)
Death+Scouting = Ninja (Poisonous range and melee)
Death+Nobility = Dark Lord (Max. negative morale r/m)
Death+Tactics = Reaver (Bloodlust)

ok evry1 guess what? no more wondering about what two classes are gonna give you what, i just found a site that gives evry combination and a description, and it turned out to be pretty disapointing. Some classes barely give you anything! here's the site incase you want it: http://db.gamefaqs.com/computer/doswin/file/heroes_of_might_and_magic_iv_class.txt .

i realized that it's not such a great idea to pick skills just for the class type, but for the skills themselves. That being said, i think my favorite SKILL is other tactics or one of the good magic types (order, nature, life).

Dark Lord and Wizard (I believe it's wizard, it might be witch though) King. DL's attack gives max. negative morale while WK's attack gives max. negative luck. So when you have a hero with one of these class types, build up their archery skill early and often to inflict your enemies with sorrow and misfortune (which can greatly improve your chances of winning).

However on the scenario I'm currently playing, I made the mistake of buiding up my Dark Lord's combat skills...which turned him into a stupid little assasin (and now I can't seem to change him back).

I prefer to play the asylum, so I hire a thief that I try to give some nobility skill to make a Guildmaster.  With a  grandmaster nobility governor, a town can produce black dragons at 1/4 days (instead of 1/7), and that's a _lot_ of extra power.

Try it--you'll like it.
