Cowards I say! Stealth, Subterfuge, Sabotage, Assasination, ALL COWARDS! What has become of the day when honor is life? When there is no dishonorable murder, and everyone sorted things out with a club each and spontaneously hitting each other in the head? (I mean, even monks prove their honor by kicking each other in the balls to resolve a conflict, don't they?) I mean, hell with all these "suicide bombings" and all that, for the greater good they say...OF WHAT? THERE IS NO GREATER GOOD, it is either someone benefits, or someone loses out, and the someone that loses is always holding a grudge. Hence the never ending cycle of violence! Though many people stand up for what they believe in. It is not firm ground to use as an excuse for the harm of others! When will this stop? Can't they ever understand that no matter what they do, they can never win over themselves? What is the point of doing harm to others if you do not want others to harm you, or in this case, retaliate against what you believe in? All these Al-Queda and Iraq and all that, WHY MUST THIS WAR HAPPEN? I know that it is too late to change anything, but the thought still stands, and I hope any suicidal terrorist reading this would come to the better understanding that nothing they do, no matter how big, would ever change the fact that, no one on this earth can ever truly "WIN". There will always be a loser. And if everyone can accept that, maybe the world will be a much better place. Yes, my speculations are impossible. Just a thought.

Being an Australian dosen't make it better...

Well, another massive tragedy linked to Islamic Extremist Terrorism has happened, this time on our footsteps. The bombing of a popular tourist precinct in Bali was enough to send shockwaves of horror to the enitre world and especially Australia. Now, we are in danger of a terrorist attack since the bombing began.

More than 100 were killed and over 200 injured - not as bad as September 11, but still horrific. Of the dead 14 were confirmed as Australians. Bali hospitals became overcrowded and so therefore we had to take in come of the victims in our country. Unfortunately, one died on flight.

I am shocked by this tragedy, but a new feeling of disgust has enroached upon me again concering the terrorists that did this inhumane event - almost certain that is some form of home-grown Islamic Extremist group, possibly liknked to Al Qaeda. For years since East Timor's independence Indonesians have been strongly anti-Australian and anti-American. This has been enhanced greatly by this bombing. And yes, I do believe that this bombing will ruin Bali's tourist appeal and the economy of Indonesia.

May God bless Australia and the victims of the bombing tragedy.

Indonesia is shaping as one of the biggest scumholes in SE Asia, if not the entire planet.
Corruption is rife, the leaders are puppets to gangsters and are forever pandying to Islamic extremists.
Looks like there are probably over a hundred Australians killed. The Indonesians have hated Australians since the Australians stood up to them over East Timor.

Wouldn't surprise me if this was organized by Indonesian miltary in cahoots with Islamic extremists.

It's about time that the world got tough with Indonesia and demand they clean up their stinking cesspool of Islamic extremists.

Why anyone would want to go anywhere near the place, even Bali, is beyond me.

Beware a smiling Indonesian, they know how to smile as they kill.

Not all indonesian hate Australia. Probably just a very small number of people lead by moslem extremists. My little sister is in Australia since 4 years ago. She said that she fin many other indonesian students in Australia.

Beware when you said that. Not 100% Indonesian like that. I am indonesian. Once again, i am not muslim, but i am Christian since i born, as well as my whole family related members.

All Indonesian goverment staffs are lead by muslem peoples of course. Me as Christian, and the other religion followers (like Buddha & Hindu) are just a small number of people. We can't do anythin' about it. We can't say anythin' to the peoples with authority. Im affraid if we do that, more church will getting bombed. If the world want to nuke the whole indonesian... go on. But evacuate us first. Evacuate the christian, buddha, and hindu followers to somewhere.

BTW I'm an Indonesian, same like Sandro here...and a sad thing I'm an muslim (but still I'm proud of it, because a good muslim will always refuse the act of any violence ).

Just want to be honnest about these convo we've got here. Me and a whole lot of people who believe in Islam as their religion, actually think that this tragical event that occur in Bali was a national black day.

Islam never teach to hurts people, therefore any indication of the terorist that doing this sh*t, whoever they were is, if they proclaim them self as a muslim, I'm sure the muslim community it self may not going to like it and forever curse on them.

Despite everything...f*ck with the terorist. May God roast their sinner head on hell...

I'm sure there are many good Indonesians, but I've been wary of Indonesians since seeing what the so called 'militia' did in East Timor.
Like hacking East Timorese to pieces with machetes in front of their families and smiling Indonesian soldiers.
The dissapearance of thousands in a brutal campaign of terror designed to intimidate the East Timorese.
There is such a thing as a national image you know and for me, this is how I remember the Indonesian.
