...try it then u'll see...poison is crap (and if you must u can cure it )
Btw wyvern have lowest damage per week + miserable health (LVL6 wyverns has hp like LVL5 gorgons) and low ATT; poison is MAYBE good to trigger on strong units but with s#$%! damage and hp they can't survive to attack something serious...
So IMHO wyvern is the worst 6LVL (they're too weak for 6th tier unit)

I agree with your conflux and stronghold.
the rest...

griffins are good! fast. good hp. endless retal.

dwarves are excellent! good hp, def, magic def, very good for blocking town walls.

walking deads. upgrade to zombie for a vv good town defender.

gnolls. these are probably the 2nd best lv 1s, after centaurs.

stone golems. upgrade to iron golems for another sexy town defender =)

trogs... these are actually damn useful in the beginning and having a huge stack of these will make your opponent waste one of their strong creature stacks to attack your trogs... I'd rather have trogs than manticores.

in 1v1 , the gnolls are the 5th best level 1 creature (behind centaur, captain centaurs, that guy with a spear, and hum, evolution of the guy with a spear) or at least I think.

wyverns are very low in defense but their damages is decent, when evolved, they beat scorpicores (not considering special abilities)
and of course they fly, your dread knights are awesome, but they don't fly.

no, I only said that the flying ability is good.
(it's one of the reasons why my favorite level 6 creature isn't the naga nor the dread knight but the efreet)

flying ability only really makes a big difference if you're sieging someone.
but in the case of wyverns, it doesn't help overly much since your wyverns won't survive the round once they get inside the walls.

Craetures most of us all want to get rid off:

Archers: boring, useless and easy to upgrade (who needs them anyway )

Walking dead and zombies: All they can do is drag themselves to Oblivion

Gargoyles  and serpent flies:way to fragile for a flyer; either they increase its hitpoints or they increase its growth

Dwarves: all they do is annoy me, only usefull as defenders during a siege

same applies to Ogres (the standard ones, the Ogre magus is way too cool) and earth elementals (who fall way to easily)

Orcs: aggravatingly (how i managed to spell that correct is some kind of miracle) slow. they just fall like (serpent) flies.

Harpies: without no retaliation as dangerous as a bouquet of daffodils

Peasants, Gremlins and imps are just cannonfodder

Put them all in the trashcan!

The best are: Marksmen, War Unicorns and Master Genies

I'd like to add the this is the case with the weak serpent flies and Stone Gargoyles

Castle: There are really no plain bad creatures here, but I have to go with the monks/zealots. They get themselves killed way too easily.

Rampart: Dwarves are very annoying to kill and I never really take them out of town.

Dungeon: Harpies because it is annoying to fight them and annoying to fight with them. They die easily and the damage is low. I also have a personal grudge against them that I'm not going to dwell into now.

Necropolis: It was hard for me at first to choose between the wraiths and zombies due to both not really being abled to do much during the battle, but the zombies took the cup by being just plain awful due their extreeeeeeeeeeemly low "speed" and their low "damage" and it does not help one bit that their dwelling is needed to get the better part of necropolis creatures. It would have been nicer just to increase the cost of the better buildings, but not requiring the zombie dwelling. The zombies are propably the most hated creature on my hate list.

Fortress: I have always loved this town and I really can't decide wich creature is the least dear to me. It is like I had seven sons and I had to tell them who I don't like as much as the others. It comes to a decision between the Wywerns who are cool, but not durable at all and the other tier 6 creatures leave them far behind and Gnolls who are tier 1 wich has nothing, but plain creatures who aren't really useful after early game. I chose Wywern.

Tower: I haven't played this town too much and have kind of felt it attracting due to the good theme music seconded by Fortress's theme and the pretty snowy view with some cool architecture not to mention the unique line of creatures. I have to say that it's a tie between gargoyles and gremlins.

Inferno: I have never really liked this town at all. The line up is a mixture of bad-average creatures and the creature desings are pretty lame. I pick demons for being such a cherry on top of the plain & average cake.

Stronghold: Wolfriders because they just never make it alive to deal any considerable damage reducing them to just cannonfodder for the suicide missions.

Conflux: Pixies are useful early, but thats about it. Can't bash the rest at all since tiers 2-5 are like the Fantastic Four and tier 6 is like dr. Doom. Firebirds and their upgrades are magnificent beings to behold and I don't see any reason to hate them if they are on my side .
