positive campaign
I do not think myself to be the most eloquent or educated man, but I have a couple things to say about the message board. I don’t say much in places other than the ToH message board, besides short snippets if praise, or humor to/for a couple of people. I am a ToH fan and supporter 100%, I belong to other organizations as well, but I prefer and am loyal to ToH. I have friends there, and always try and help the new folk with HOMM4, as was done for me, doing what I can to make my, and their gaming experience fun.
So why is it we are always being torn down by someone?
I realize there has been problems in the past. I have personally talked to some of the people whom have been hurt, or felt wronged by ToH, then war erupts between who is right and who is wrong. But I don’t think it is necessary to start bashing each other to the extreme.
Are the HOMM3 players right in the tearing down of HOMM4 or the HOMM4 players right in telling the HOMM3 players that it is dead?
Probably not, in either case we are a community of players, active players or inactive. Don't we all have the same objective in mind? … to play the game, and then in the community spend time talking about it and sharing ideas and thoughts with others. There is several ways approach it, in debate form…one of my favorites, or in the form of oooohhhh that’s a great idea, how about if you add this…. another tactic or this….yea you’re a great player I admire you….I seem to be very ambiguous but all of these work for me as well.
Some people like to argue, and that is completely ok, and natural if you ask me. But doesn’t this get taken way over the line in some cases when you launch a campaign against someone or something, just because you don’t like the person running things or you disapprove of their methodology?
For once I would like someone to launch a positive campaign instead of hearing about people tourney or type of game bashing. So this is my attempt to do so. Let’s have a positive thread and say nice things about administration, or praise on people who work hard to help….anything to this extent.
Is this possible? I sincerely hope this is not a dead thread before it ever gets read, so I will start it for others.

Vesuvious, Doc Fritch, Alkis, Lichking(honor council), azure majesty (for being my friend), Melissa X, Destro23, Jinxer, Splexx, UNCOATEDTITAN(you know why baby lol even though I still can’t chain for the life of me LMAO), Kitty, zud, jb239, jex(thx for the forgiveness bud), and to all the newbies out there for making my life better by letting me repay the people I mentioned, and some I did not, by doing the same for you as they were so gracious enough to do for me.
Well take care my friends and I hope to see you on a different battlefield than this one =O).

I think Ive seen a similar thread in toh once..must have dissappeared very quickly.
I'd like to thank Hexa for introducing me to online gaming and Haile for putting up with me as a noob and giving me compliments eventhough he knows I suck at the game 
And also a thank you to the guys who made TOH possible all the volunteers and also Vesuvius.
And I like to thank Cheesus for getting beat by me in the promised 10 minutes (no hun I'm not letting this one slide )
Oh and off course Greystole azure and doc for having me in their team  (although it was a short while )
edit: a lot of winking huh? I feel I left out some people but you know who you are thx alot
edit2: how could I forget my game with TEL..lol..you were really going wayyy too fast for me

In keeping with the spirit of this thread, I'd like to remind everyone of the generous contributions of time and energy of the site(s) administrators/moderators. Their work is thankless, time-consuming, and _way_ underpaid. (That's all been said before, in other threads, of course, but it can't be said often enough.) Thank you.
Thanks also to people who have downloaded and made comments on my maps (Dunwold & Dark Son)--your praise and comments were greatly appreciated. It's nice to know that someone derived pleasure from your work.

But its definately one that is nice to see pop up again  Bobntamr1, you're quickly become my top new favorite poster, always so positive , well i dunno how new you are, but you're new to me
I have been around for.. 4 years? lol I'm sad.. so i've met waaaaay to many awesome people for a list But hopefully they know who they are - if not i guess i'm a sucky friend
I think this is a pretty good community we have here, and if people could just learn they can have a different opinion than someone without it meaning that person is an idiot - we'd be near perfect
PS. to Romana, glad to see you back around
PPS. to Bob - your ridiculas little opinion has been noted! LOL i love that one

well i would like to give a HUGE thanks to Kitten, my lovely wife, for putting up with me like she does lol!!
Bob Kitten speaks highly of you so in my book i can call ya a friend.
I do not know many people on line but I would have to say Jinxer is one of my best pals online.

i have to say thay kitten is one of the most helpful and possitive people around and I am shocked that she remembers me sometimes lol ...
plus i hoped we could get some more possitive people praising their freinds by bringing it back to the top.
