, your Titans should have a speed of at least 14 or 15. Good chance you will go first on the first round. unless you play against Castle,Rampart,Dungeon,Necro or Conflux
you could kill an entire Main Army in your very first round, before they even have a chance to retreat/counter/cast spell which will only satisfy your ego after avoiding the CPU for 10 months, just so that you can prove yourself you are so pro that you can wipe an army in 1 round
Nothing is more important than Ego around here, it seems. Spare me the Sermon. The title of this thread does not say "Viable HOMM3 Tactics". Therefore, I have just as much right to discuss so-called "impossible" tactics as "non-impossible" ones.

I do realize that playing multiplayer is almost a completely different game. A tactic like this obviously will never work against a human.
One thing I've noticed is most players (that post here anyway) tend to only upgrade a scarce few troops, and just recruit the base type of everything else, therefore being able to attack sooner. I like a long build up time before initiating the clash, because I enjoy fighting huge battles, with both sides having thousands of troops. Sure, the final score will be reduced due to time taken, but I really don't care about a high score.

That sounds much better. It is much fun to have big battles and long game play sometimes. However I think Tigris "mocked" on you because of your speed statement. A shooter army will almost never act first. And if a shooter is blocked he deals half damage. The greatness of the game is about the endless variations and combinations it offers, being limited only by our skill. Reducing it to one way is a fast way to lose, if not today, surely tomorrow.

Sorry for the "sermon" wasn't my intention
Good tactic mate, I really enjoyed it and I will try it also next time when i have a chance, archers rock!
Hey guess what, you could also get Sir Mullich and so your titans would have speed 17...or even better if you play SOD you could assemble Angellic Alliance so you get Mass Prayer at the start of round 1.
Keep up the good work

This might be a bit off-topic, but I've been hearing many things about a map (or map "style"?) called Jebus. Does anyone know where I could download it (or them) from? Also, is it a specific map, or is it a type of Random map? If so, does anyone have a sample Jebus map? Thanks everyone!

Hi guys,
I'm new to this forum and I wanted this to be a new thread. I haven't been able to find a thread that directs this question in particular, so here goes...
I do a local radio show with two other guys, and we're all moderate HOMM3 fans. We're doing a small trip in december where we'll spend a few days in a house near the beach and hopefully get some gaming going. As we are three players, I'm wondering what map(s) you'd recommend for us to play. We have a rampart and a castle player and I usually prefer fortress/stronghold/dungeon/random, so what would be fairly balanced towards these castles on a three-player map? Multiple map recommendations with possible download sites would be very welcome!
Thanks in advance,
Nayarana

Loosing 6 level 7 creatures in an utopia isn't something I would call "great tactic" to be honest.....

They were intended as cannon fodder from the looks of it, so the Force Wall/Berserk loop could be set up and maintained. Sure they lost all mana, and most troops, but they ended up with a bunch of Relic level artifacts.
I'd say well done, never would have thought of that trick with Force Wall.

2angelito: First of all, it's magic hero who takes an utopia. Also, this video is from a real game and not intended to be as much errorless as possible.

The force field trick is pretty old. But using level 7 units as cannon fodder is still something I wouldn't do, and he will regret that in endfight. He gained 2 helmets and 2 swords. He may now have great primary skills, but lacks in hitpoints. What will he do with all that money? Looks like he had conflux as starting town (firebirds, pixies, air elementals) and wyverns and angels from hives and conservatory. Means he won't be able to upgrade his angels anway. It doesn't seem to be a map which lasts 2 months or longer, otherwise there was no need to attack a full utopia in week 3 and take all these losses. So I guess meeting the opponent happens earlier, probably week 4 or 5. He will throw his opponent to death with coins?
But to each his own...were just my 2 cents..

Are you sure it is real game? I would take my time when placing that force field, he does it very fast and a mis click means "game over". Looks more than a fight for the gallery. Also it looks strange that he has a bunch of godly spells (guild level4?) but no upgraded birds, which could save them.

He may also have saved the life of 1 angel at least (maybe even the single firebird would have survived...) if he had played a little different:
Instead of casting berzerk each 2nd round, he should have casted haste on angels 1 time.
Now he could have used the angels in following rounds as second hitter towards golds or blacks when he waited with them and attacked after the berzerk attack happened.

He was forced to brake that utopia because he didn't want to leave it to his opponent.

Is it possible to defeat Frozen Cliffs guards with just 11 elves and 1 centaur? If yes, how? (not 'great tactic' but just a little trick).

I repeat, it's only little funny trick.
You need: 1) at least Basic Tactics; 2) Berserk; 3) 20 mana points; 4) ammo cart.
Divide your elves: 9 + 1 + 1, 911
Place 9 elves to the upper corner, shelter them with 2 others. When dragons kill 1 elf do as shown (fire and fire again):
