Need some Help...

Howdy Guys..

I've recently started having a problem with the zone.

Now before you give me answers, remember I am a computer programmer.. so don't need step by step for an illiterate. Anyway..

Web Browser has all cookies enabled.. besides the odd ones which I have it prompt to build.. MSN .net uses cookies of course to process your information.

Logging into zone fails.. because.. Cookies are Disabled on my computer? But they are enabled everywhere, I think, anyone think of what could be causing this?

ANy suggestions welcome.

ok here is what you do:

1) Turn on the computer, the power button is placed on the big thingy where you CD ROM and disk drive is. (The CD ROM looks like a CD player).

... =P

nah seriously, have u tried to remove all cookies and deleted all temporary internet files? Sometimes your cookies can be broken and thats the reason why.

just an idea...

Hiya Destro,

you know what? That's the same thing that happened to me a few days ago! I went on lowest security setting, allowed anything, but still IE told me to enabled cookies. I even reinstalled my comp, but it didn't help either.

So I figured it's not my comps fault, it rather seems to be a problem with the connection. That's why I tried to log into zone repeatedly, and after the 5th try or so it works. Still not sure what the problem is, but patience seems to be the key

Well more strangeness,

I have recently installed Netscape as this seems to have fixed a similar problem of midnights..

Netscape cannot load the zone lobbys, however it will let me log into .net and the zone!

I am wondering if perhaps the recent IE update to the 6.1 service pack has done something to zone log ins.. anyone else have downloaded that new update before having these problems?

well same thing happened to me in the beginning of this season.. Problem was absoultely meaningless and changing security settings didn't work. As one last try before formatting my computer I tried to login msn with a hotmail and from the hotmail page (I was using my default mail when I was logging in before) and it worked. Try logging in msn by hotmail, then go back to zone and open zclient from homm3 mainpage directly without signing in again of course, it should work.
