red rush?
Is this red rush:
map GW
day7 opponent enters the portal in the middle and kills my scout, heading for SoJ.
day1 I get my new weeks troops, and head forward to find his chain, and kill one of his scouts, breaking his chain.
And my opp. claims that it is red rush.
Now, is what I did red rush or not?

doubtful, but red rush is a player created rule and needs to be clarified prior to the start of play ir u want to play with it.

player created rule, but i think its no red rush.
from my point of view only red rush, if the main hero will be attacked on day1 with new troops

I did not attack his main. Also, I could have blocked his chain by stepping into the portal.
His main was within reach. But I did not attack his main, whereas I could. Since I define red rush as attacking town or main without giving him his day1.
In our case, he was going to have his day1, and, god knows, maybe his day2 and 3 too...

no using red to rush a castle or a main hero is what most players play.
Some dont like to be touched at all by red on day one if the rule is a facter.
Whats the dif from day 1 if a scout cant defend himself regardless.
Basically it means no rushing the main castle or hero.
To be on the safe side, might as well not rush any players till day 2 lol.
I remember on I think NvsS playing Wiggy oh man it sucked I had to wait like 15 min while he is getting his red rush to attack me before I can recruit lol.
I ask him "I see your going to rush me before I can recruit heh"
He says "yup hehehe"
I came close to winning still regardless of his 80-95 demons lol.

red rush as
as I have said, I could have cut his supply line by stopping at the portal, and slaughter him on day2. That way there'd be no contact or touching.. But I still would have the new weeks troop advantage.
Afterall I did not force him to enter that lith on day7.

people make the "redrush" rule to prevent that someone uses the fact that red gets his extra army earier to win the game. in your case i doubt that your extra army decided the game because im quite sure u could have beaten that scout without new troops too wouldn't ya ?
Actually you would have been dumb if you wouldnt have brought ur day 1 troops too middle because if you hadnt he would have chained his new troops and would have had an advantage.
"Redrush" is a silly rule in my opinion which is only needed on maps that are crappy designed (best example: west versus east)

Hehe... You are right with that. But when I killed his scout, he would not be able to get his new week troops. Yea I could have killed that scout without new weeks armies too. But if I had done so, he prolly could have reached me before I got my reinforcements (low chances tho).
His argument was, "red rush" is: red fighting with new weeks troops whereas blue has not got them yet.
Even though I did not agree what I did was redrush, I agreed`to load his auto and let him get his troops.
PS: My opp. was not a loser or a dishonorable bastage, but a cool and fun guy to play with. No hard feelings
