Heroes 5 and WoG

I wonder what will the 3.5 team do when Heroes V come out? AFAIK, 3DO still wants to remove heroes from battlefield in H5, thus dragging it closer to the HoMM3 standards. Will Slava & Co. then switch to HOMM 5.5? 
I doubt we'll switch but anything's possible. I suppose it mostly depends on how much we like Heroes 5 compared to Heroes3 (and how difficult or easy it would be for Slava to do modifications to the game). Since it's likely NWC will use the H4 engine as the basis for H5, many things may stay the same, although as much (or more) could be changed between H4 and H5 as was between H1 and H2 or H2 and H3.
But in addition to whether or not we like it, there's also the issue of expansions. There's not much point doing a full MOD for a game until all the expansions are finished because doing them sooner would mean that the MOD probably wouldn't work with the expansions. Now that doesn't mean we'll switch to working on a H4 MOD after Winds of War comes out (although Slava did make some tools to use with H4) because nobody on the team likes H4 as much as H3 anyway.
H4 has a lot of nice features but it has a lot of problems too (especially the AI) and it includes many things that I just don't like as much as H3. Plus it lacks some of the important H3 features, especially in combat.
Anyway, who can say what the future holds for sure...
