Real Madrid

(39 200 000 results)

The winner is:    Barcelona

This one's not valid; the name of the clubs are Real Madrid and FC Barcelona. If you just type 'Barcelona', you have to type 'Madrid', not 'Real Madrid'....
I'll do it properly.

But first:
Woock once told me that he, while googling for "Heroes Community", made a small typo and typed "Herpes Community" instead. So, here are the results of that battle:
herpes community( 533 000 results) versus heroes community(4 060 000 results)

So, to the FC Barcelona vs. Real Madrid:
real madrid(10 300 000 results) versus fc barcelona (1 910 000 results)
Real Madrid is one of the top three largest football clubs, when counting numbers of supporters, so it would have surprised me if Barca won...

Good selection, BoogieMan...

Your "GoogleFights" not only touched on contemporary subjects, but also included a little "Battle of the sexes" & "Political" satyre as well. Bravo!

Battle #4 for me:

offensive opinion - 3 330 000

VS

offensive smell - 506 000

Conclusion: It seems that most peoples' minds are more developped than their sense of smell, otherwise the results would have been the opposite, no?!

There is no such thing as crapitalism. Crapitalism is a combination of corservativism and liberalism.

Or rather, while communism is a word that describes a society, crapitalism is a economic model.

I thought of using Marx and Smith, but figured out that the results of that would look like this:
marx (8 660 000 results) versus smith (90 100 000 results)

So, since it only exists one Marx of any importance (Groucho isn't much of a guy ) but 90,000,000 Smiths, I figured that I'd use the names they'd be best known by: Marx and Adam Smith.

How about we do it like this

"karl marx"
(1 930 000 results)

versus "adam smith"
(1 790 000 results)

After all, you want to look for pages about adam smith, not adam jones and agent smith, right?

Allright. Argument taken. Adam Smith never achieved the same status of worship that Karl Marx did anyway. We don't need to glorify the person in order to obscure the fact that his writing was crap.

One thing that I'd like to correct:

Capitalism: 5,630,000
vs.
Crapitalism: 1,150

I think we can all agree now that "Capitalism" is indeed the proper term.

To be honest, this whole thing is stupid. We are not checking which system is better by doing a googlefight, but which is most commonly seen mentioned on the web. Obviously at least half of the pages actually oppose the system in question!

And even if more people supported capitalism, it still doesn't make it the right system, just the popular one.
