Why pick luck when luck enhancing artifacts are so common?

Sorcery...yeah whateva'

Lord Crusader your secondary skills combination is for a magic hero. For a might hero you will have other skills like offensive, armorer and tactic.

I think a good pick of skills would be:

Earth Magic
Wisdom
Logistics
Luck

These are, "in my opinion" the best to have.

I always pick these when I have the chance.

Luck...why luck dude? Leadership is better 'cause you have the chance to hit again, another unit or the unit you last time hit and you get retaliation. Luck is good only when you're playing undead.

Well, all you right, meaby another secondary skill, like offense, defense or pathfounding or another (archery with tower) is better, all depends of the circunstances, but I like "luck" more than leadership, meaby leadership and luck have the same effect... luck double damage, and leadership double hit, But for example, if you hit to
10 behemont with 10 archangels + luck, meaby I kill 5  Behemonts(with high attack), and the reteliate is with only with 5 behemonts, and with leadership meaby I kill 3 or 2 behemonts and the reteliate are with 7 or 8 behemonts, I donīt like a hit of 8 behemonts, it's better only 5...

In mi opinion

Well yeah...in that case, if you are afraid of the enemy's retaliation, luck could be better. But olso if you get high moral on your Archangels, first time you hit, second time you resurect(I think it's a better option), or high moral on the Mighty Gorgons, that means two death stare. Usually units with special abilities should have high moral not luck so they can use their special ability on as many units as posible. That's why I think leadership is better then luck on most of the situations.

The problem is, you can't "auto-cast" resurrect with the  archangels, meaby the best combination included luck and morale, But I still think the luck is better than moral...

Their both good dude, probably you think luck is better cause you like it the most, but when you're playing Dungeon, Stronghold or Fortress chosing luck instead of leadership could cost you a lot. Having both luck and leadership is a too big waste of space, cause at +3 moral(luck) you will have 12,5% chances to get high moral(good luck) so you'd better have one of them and another skill which works permanently like offensive or armorer or resistence cause it has more chances to work then leadership or luck.

Someone listen to Kuma here, this is what matters imo.  Some skills are a big NO on main heroes but can be really cool on scouts or garrison heroes.

Artillery is not bad for garrison heroes, Estates can do, even First aid or Eagle Eye may come in handy sometimes.  I always have at least one scout or garrison hero with Scholar, hmm well, I lose all games I play too hehe But maybe that's got to do with other things too

I've had navigation scouts before, many times they have scouting or pathfinding too, even if there's not that much rough terrain at all.  A pathfinding scout can clear a small section of rough, so that your main doesn't lose movement or has to pick Pathfinding him/herself.

Best skill is Logistics, head and shoulders above the rest.  Armorer and Offense ruel bigtime!  Ballistics is great for Fortress or Stronghold, Leadership is not bad if ya start mixing armies, Tactics can also be great.  Intelligence, Learning, Mysticism and Sorcery are incredibly bad.  Wisdom and four magic skills depend on alignment and mage guild(s).  If you find spellbinders or recanters for example, taking wisdom is useless.  Personal preferences for magic skills are water and fire.  Resistance, Necromancy, Luck and Archery are good in certain circumstances.  I won't talk about diplo here
