Rampart Fans Unite!
WELLCOME TO OUR WORLD!
I love Rampart race and I'm curious how many HOMM community members do so too.
Just your presence here will demonstrate that you like Rampart the most.

Favorite Creature: Dwarf and Dendro, very useful vs Shooters
Favorite Hero: Melodia, shes ugly but her skills rocks
Rampart rocks you are right, i always build up capitol as fast as possible and than the Treasury - man im so rich than its cool

I like the grand elves and the kentaurs. Great to clear map in early game, then you can buy unicorns to do the heavy stuff.

Rampart Rules!
Grand Elf - is indeed a great unit.
Unicorns are so nice
Dendro - makes enemy to feel so irritating
God bless Rampart and give us mounains of cristals

Rampart isn't the best,but its my second favourite.
Right after dungeon,which really rocks!
To play with rampart,u need either:
Gelu(makes sharpshooters)
Ivor(makes the weak elves a bit stronger)
Kyrre(simply a good hero)
or Mephala(armorer helps keep elves alive)
What I love about Rampart:
The grand elf(my favorite unit,weak though)is their key unit,but its really hard to keep'em alive!For that u'd need Mephala or Ivor to improve their defence.Unicorns are cool too.Magic aura is good but blind realy rocks!I love dragons,they are defended against magic,have 2nd best attack in ROE(after Archangel)
and 3rd best defence in ROE(after A.angels and ArchDevils),
they are also fast and breath attack is sometimes useful,since it will make the enemy think twice about blocking his/her shooters!
What I hate about Rampart:
Dwarves!They suck!The only reason I ever make the dwarven dwelling,is to get the treasury,and since it is only necessary in the end,when I have more gold,I kinda make their dwelling last(since it is not required for anythin else).Also hate pegasus!They suck!They die real quick and kill almost nothin(like gargoile in homm2).I also hate Druid heroes!Elleshar is the best of them but he too sucks,so I hate the druids too!

LOL Andi, until the last words I thought you aren't joking... I couldn't beleive my eyes...
Well, now back on topic. Rampart is a nice town, I used to be its fan not too long ago, but now I like other towns more. Sure, it can be pretty deadly, if you build unicorns week 1... It also has some good heroes mentioned above (I like Kyrre most of all).

I think that the H2 sorcererss also counts as rampart. Same thing but looks cooler 
1. Favorite creature is the dwarf from H2, they are such nice and stable units that might be a bit slow but are great at defending the elves.
2. Best looking creature is a hard one, because all of the H2 creatures look so cool. The best one might well be the dwarf but since I picked him above I'll go with the unicorns.
3. Favorite hero... I forget names but the guy with the unicorn skill in H3.

From heroes2,best looking creature phoenix.Dwarves look nice too,but still,phoenix is the best lookin!

Glancy is the hero.Yep,one of the best,I like Ivor and Kyrre better.

First you run around with grands and cents..then week 2 you add the unicorns and dends if needed (upg. cents). Week 3 you go around with 3 drags or use full army for the really tough battles. Pegasis should be bought in time for those battles and dwarves you get ahead of main fight if you get them at all.
Best native heroes would be: Ivor for starting units, Kyrre for log and Mephala for armour.
and unicorn dudes name is Clancy btw.

Rampart rules , because of reasons :
1. Units are cheap and has lots of HP
2. Treasury
3. Rampart heroes are so good (i mean rangers) Such like one with dendroid speciality (+25% speed to them, and make it more usefull) , and Kyrre, the fastest runner , and such man like (forgot name) with speciality magic resistance. Just give him some resistant artifacts, and give him some + unicorns + battle dvarfes and you have unmagicf |_| ckable army.

The only problem about Kyrre is that I still cannot understand whether she... oh, he? so, whether it is male or female... since in H4 he (she, it?) is obviously a male, but in H3 she (he, it?  ) is a female...

rampart rules
best heroe on random maps is ivor for the elven bonus. you dont even have to use him but the extra elves help i had 23 elves day one once after buying dwelling and starting with 2 heroes, ivor included, who had elves. best looking creature is gold dragon or green just cause they fly around murdering monsters and best heroes are kyrre and mephala cauce once that defense is high its awful tuff to take out goldies and i like dendriods and ryland too cause if u diplo a good stack then you can bind up somethin that is important for opponent to have free and always get to say "STICK AROUND" right before you bind em.

Hehee,good point.
I think she/he is female in H3,dunno bout H4 though.
