The fun in this game is building decks. It's very hard to make a great deck. The key is to be prepared for everything, to have good balance, have good combos, but not to rely on any one combo. Most importantly one must have more than one way to win or have one way that is dominating, persistant, and hard to counter.

lol yes... but if he has like 7 creatures and u have 1... its preatty good...
like a combo i have in my Red/Black deck...
Bloodfire infusion:
Deals damidge equal to enchanted creatures power to each creature. can only enchant enemy creatures...
and
Bloodfire Collosus:
1 mountain, sacrefice BC: Bloodfire Collosus deals 6 damadge to each creature and each player...
good not to have to many creatures here... lol

Wrath of god is legal
wrth of god is a legal card. Sure it is good, why wuldnt it be? But it is legal...i have a card thats even better though. Sorry to tell you, but i know EVERYTHING about magic because i have almost every card in most of the sets... i know their legality, power and toughness ,and of course, their abilties...i have an awesome card you may wanna look for... Called DEVESTATION ... cost 8 mana, its a sorcery, "Destory all creatures and all lands." if your opponent has 10 lands and 15 dragons out...you have 2 lands and 1 creature, you use that...hes dead completly
draw 1-4 lands during your next turns and a 4/4 creature--- in 5 turns hes dead, unless his deck is good enough to over come the perils of devestation...

I agree, Magic the Gathering is the best game ever.
I played a lot around Rath & Urza's cycles. They just happen to be my favourite sets. Haven't been so much in touch with MtG lately (speaking of years here). Some good or fun Type 2 decks (when Rath was still in Type2), Living Death, Suicide Black (second round kill anyone?), Stompy (got back to power when Rancors came), White Weenie, Sligh, Stupid Green Deck, Blue Control (I guess this has been always around in one form or another), Draw and Go, Enchantress, Bridge decks, Oath of Druids decks, Green Control, etc. Can't remember them all.

I just came up with this new deck. It involves a couple cards. It's blue. I have lots of cheap merfolk, apprentice wizards, air elementals, phantom monsters, and Lord of Atlantis for creatures. Then I have this card called Equilibrium and homarid spawning bed. This allows me to get lots of 1/1 creatures and return yours to your hand at the same time, so I win. But I add sunken city and levitation to make my 1/1's better. Also Equilibrium allows me to return creatures in my graveyard to my hand, so I can replay them and re-sacrifice them. It works out well.
Tell me if I am misinterpreting the rules of magic on this basis.

hmmm.. which edition do these cards belong to? Never heard about any of them, except mountain, swamps and so on. You don't play with onslaught or legions, do you?

It doesn't sound that good. Three colors? That's a bit too many. Don't you ever have mana problems with that deck? The only time I would ever have 3 colors is if I had green. Then I could have, 4 birds of paradise, skyshroud elf for red and white mana. I would also make a deck with 3 colors if I had land tax. But your deck doesn't include white. To be honest with a deck like that I would replace black with white; soltari champion, swords to plowshares, intrepid hero, and land tax. swords to plowshares and intrepid hero is far more effective at destroying creatures than terror and royal assassin. What if the creature isn't tapped or not black? swords to plowshares removes any creature from the game. intrepid hero is good, because you can kill all of your opponent's big creatures and you still have lightning bolt for those pesky little ones. Another thing, I wouldn't have shivan unless a had more mountains or ways of getting red mana. It's nowhere near as good if you only have 2 mountains in play where as if you have 8 mountains out its a 13/5 flyer instead of a 7/5 flyer.

You guys are rookies the dual lands make all land probs float away.....Don't you know that black is the fastest and most verstile color terror kills all no probs all u got to do is wait like 2 to 4 rounds then all hell breaks loose with those big creatures you got the shivan at 5/5 is all u want but the duel lands help there again, all creatures are flying...and lastly with the zuran orb out it will be hard to take this deck and do it time after time, my terrors kill any creatures not non-black non artie creature...
A white and read deck is one of the best around ill go in to that later when i find the cards..i bought them a while ago and misplaced them the read and white is a good on it has like 4 rog's and some sword to plow shares...
also there is this speed red/ green with kird apes and llanowar elves very quick
