Yes Acu. I did that once. I had balistics and 7 archers In 7 slots. And balistics is the key. Implosion and retreat. Before the game was no rule about hit and run=> my oponent got very angry. I would have been too. 
The thing is that if i'll do that every time i'll end up playing with AI only. lol
But the thing is, Toh rules=NO rules.

then ya were NOT honorable, if you said no h&r since the beggining, ya cant just say "this rule" and when the game is goin to break it , win , and after that claim that hc has no rule.. that's no honor

Well if there is a misunderstanding on Hit and Run then why doesn't MaH or Honor council make a rule about it? As in if you decide to use the no hit and run rule this is what a hit and run is. That way everyone knows what the only No Hit and Run rule is that will be upheld.

no matter what this "official definition" would looks like -it would be wrong. i played homm long enuff to know this lol. no way there will ever be a complete and 100% "bugfree" definition of hit and run.
is it hit and run when i stay 3 rounds ?
is it hit and run when im being attacked ?
is it hit and trun when using scouts ?
is it hit and run when using no magic - only might ?
is it hit and run when elementals involved ?
is it hit and run when 1 big battle is not the game decider ?
is it hit and run when someone surrenders at all ?
is it hit and run when u cast mass haste and surrender whithout dealing damage ?
is it hit and run if you immdiatly surrender without dealing or taking damage ?
is it hit and run when i attack you with implo and surrender after 3 implosions when i would have lost when i stay and win when i surrender ?
i could cintinue this forever - give it up guys. make ruls with guys you know and who have the same "play style" .
no rules = no disputes

best way is that someone wants to play with the h/r rule make him/her define it first so you know youll look at that rule the same.

There is always something people say they agree with and after a little missunderstanding apears. Is like law. If is not between honorable people u can make all kind off rules. They will broke them anyway. There is always a way out.
And wanderer i was right on that game but it was not fun to win in that way so i renouced. We played a new one. I prefer to mentaine a friendship. Heroes is a way to feel good not to make people hate u.
P.s. If there is so many "little rules" why dont we put another: NO BALISTICS -cause i'm tired of no diplo or no necro.
